First time using a water cooler. The H90 provides serious overkill for my use; however, holiday sales at the time made the extra price negligible. The supplied instructions were terrible — I had to watch a couple online videos to ensure that I was installing it correctly. Other than that though, this cooler is fantastic. The design is stylish and the tubes are easy to maneuver. The pre-applied thermal compound was a nice touch. This thing is scarily quiet and keeps my CPU nice and cool.
Was nearly impossible to install on a LGA2011-3 socket. The screws come up short, literally. The LGA2011-v3 socket is higher than the original LGA2011 socket, so it was tough to put on. But other than that, it keeps my processor cool and is nearly silent.
seems so quite
UPDATE1: Not so quite anymore,,,,,, in less than a month!!!!!
Not the best cooler out there, but I bought it used on craigslist for decently cheap. Even under load, my CPU stays cool, but I would have preferred a dual fan rad for even better cooling. Oh well, I plan to be building a custom loop in a few years.
Amazing performance from this, it keeps the CPU below ambient temperature at idle, and the pump itself is very quiet. The only downside is that the exhaust fan provided is not the quietest, the fans from NZXT and Noctua are better.
H-90- The only annoying this was figuring out what sockets the i7 fit into, but eventually eyeballed it. When my friend looked it up it turned out I placed it right. All I would recommend is replacing the fan on it. $20 bucks can get you a much better air per sound fan.
A pretty nice liquid cooler that definitely gets the job done. Sadly the 140mm fan that comes with it didn't fit properly in the case I have, so I used some adhesive that came along with it to stick a 120mm fan on it.
great GPU cooler, haven't gone pass 59 degree.
