Very fast to boot from, but this drive has had performance decreases in the past that Samsung has fixed, but now some people are getting it again.

Super fast, as should be expected from an SSD. Loads up quick, no noise, keeps cool (31 degrees usually), and hasn't had any sign of failure yet. In use for about half a year.

Very fast read and write speeds. Outstanding.

Gooberdad 31 points 20 months ago

Fast and reliable. No issues at all over the past 2+ years.

Known issues w/ older data, Samsung claims that their latest firmware and drive-magician have band-aid fixed this problem, but we'll see.

Combine this with how fast Windows 8/8.1 boots up = godly fast boot-up speeds.

Blazing fast write/read speeds. A must have for new computers.

The usual, got it for like $75 on sale. You guys should already know whats up with this one.

Its a shame these are being phased-out. For the performance, it's really hard to beat the price. Having gone down as low as $120 for the 250GB version, these prove themselves to be fast and secure storage. Haven't had one fail on me yet, and I use one as a scratch drive for Premier Pro.
