Great motherboard for a newbie overclocker and inexperienced builder. Great assembly guide and manual -- except that the specs on the video card slots are misleading. There is only one slot that works at 16x and therefore only one that can run a high end video card. The specs on the web and even in the manual say there are two 16x slots. But the fine print on the diagram of the motherboard makes clear there is only one. ASUS confirmed this in emails with customer support, and so far has not explained to me their misleading specs. Other than this, it performs as promised and has great features such as Q-fan control and a Bios which is well suited for newbies and experts. And there are custom lighting control options that mainly I don't use -- but I do like the built in LEDs. Overall great experience! I have wondered however whether a cheaper "Strix" model would have been sufficient for my need -- take a look at both.

Looks great. Lots of options. Lots of tuning On board sound card caused many issues of no-sound. Disabled it and bought a Sennheiser GSX 1200 Pro instead
