Update **
CPU change - i3 to i5 Changed the i3-8100 to an i5-8500. I noticed some games was utilizing basically 100% of the CPU like GTA V on medium-high setting and was going low in FPS. Since CPU was the bottleneck, I decided to return the i3 and get the i5. Games run smoother.
Got an aftermarket CPU cooler Also decided to go with an Noctua NH-L9x65 cooler rather than the stock cooler this time around since the i5 runs hotter. I was really worried about the cooler not fitting in the Silverstone case since the case manual said the max height was 58mm, Pcpartpicker also warned me of compatibility issues in that regard, and the NH-L9x65 I got is 65mm. (58mm coincidentally is the same height of the Silverstone-AR06 cpu cooler, hmmmm... Same brand for the cpu cooler and case, interesting.....) Long story short the Noctua cooler fits but barely, the cpu runs at around 30 C idle, I don't regret my choice.
Added a 120mm Fractal design case fan Had this lying around from my Meshify C case. Attached this to one of the side panels ventilation. The fan is in front of the HDD and next to the 1050 Ti

Built this PC for my gal. She likes to play a few games like The Sims 4, Mortal Kombat and other titles. She would game on her Lenovo u430 laptop with a i7-4500U haswell mobile processor - integrated graphics so those games were barely playable even on very low settings. The games would take forever to load, very laggy with bad graphics.
She's going away to college and dorming there so she finally wanted a pc that could play her games flawlessly and would be good for school work as well. I decided to build a small pc that doesn't take up a lot of space, portable and something she actually could game-on without breaking the bank.
Components
Side note: The SSD, HDD, 1050 Ti, DDR4 were used and purchased for very good prices at Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Monitor was free, seller was trying to get rid of it when selling me the 1050 Ti. The rest of the components were bought brand new. I used the stock cooler, its good enough for the i3 but if my gal needs a better CPU, I would get a better 3rd party air cooler. Also, I'll see in the future if I could fit a couple case fans next to the GPU.
