This rig is used for gaming, and video editing mostly.
Rebuilt after about 6 months (first water loop) because I wasn't happy with some of the PETG bends, or some of the run choices I'd made.
What I like and don't like about my build.... I'd like to hear what you like or don't too!
Almost completely silent even under load and always nice and cool.
GPU no load 21c, load 45c
CPU no load 27c, load 60c
Fan effects with Corsair LL120 RGB Fans Lighting Node Pro
Very fast RAM - Got it due to a price error. Was cheaper than 3200MHz at the time
GPU is terrific. Capped FPS at 97 due to to 100MHz 34" 3440x1440 X34 monitor. No reason to increase. RT Ray Tracing not on my agenda for the moment. Everything Ultra settings. Love it.
Some tube bends are rough. Some were much better on the original build and made it worse this time. I lost patience! Enjoyed doing the bends the first time. Now the novelty has worn off and I
don't likehate bending PETG. It's not relaxing. It's not fun. I need psychological help now :)
Normally upgrade every 18 months to 2 years. Thoughts of doing another loop to replace this one give me nightmares. May sell this as-is when the time comes.
Tell me what you think of my rig and the components? I'd like to hear from those who've done both PETG bending and then gone to angled fittings instead. Is it worth the cost or not?
Any other thoughts and comments, let me know!
Couple of vids...
