All parts from Amazon. For those hard to reach places. (That Newegg doesn't ship to.) First build so go easy on me lol. The reasoning behind the motherboard and cpu combo is that it just slipped under the radar for me. I forgot that K and Z meant overclocking (which I wasn't really planning on), but now that i look at it I should have had the foresight. As for the gpu, it was on sale. For this build i was really going for a $800 dollar budget and at the time of the order the total came to just over $840 including shipping, which was pretty good considering I live in a place where shipping to is not easy. Building my first PC was a great experienced, I'm psyched to one day upgrade this one or build a new one altogether. My takeaways from this first building experience would be: Do your research. If cable management is a must, buy a modular psu. Know what comes with what (I have 2 tubes of thermal paste and 1 still on the way). Have fun and take breaks if you have to.
Update (6/18): Over a year later, I've added a 1080p 144hz monitor to the setup which was originally paired with the MSI GTX1050ti is now paired with the Zotac GTX1080 Mini. Another mini card?! I know, it was on sale, couldn't resist. At least this new card is more capable of pushing up to 144fps. Possible bottleneck with the CPU?
