Description

Well, I waited a year almost for this build l, and I was quite happy I did. The rtx 2080 super and 3700x are insane, and my cpu performs better than a 12 core Xeon by about 180%. My cpu was running at 90 degrees for some reason, but I fixed it after realizing that the h150i wasn’t installed properly.

Part Reviews

CPU

I could easily overclock the cpu to 4.2 ghz and it was very stable, and performs very well.

CPU Cooler

Great cooler, not too loud

Thermal Compound

I actually didn't even buy it... but it was good for my last build

Motherboard

Everything is good about it, but the RGB software is just terrible so I turned it off.

Video Card

Very fast graphics card, was able to overclock it a little bit more.

Case

Great case, very spacious, and it has good airflow.

Power Supply

This power supply works pretty well, no problems.

Case Fan

I can't believe I actually spent $220 on fans, but it looks so good, which is well worth it.

still questioning why you choose trident over corsair ram

ur fans and aio are both corsairs, so why not save the Hassel and use 1 RGB program for the corsair fans, aio, and ram lmao

I couldn't find corsair vengeance white that was 3600 mhz. But I really think G Skill is really good. I also use aura sync for the ram and the gpu, those pics are kinda old, but ill upload some new ones of the build I have on right now.

The reason your 3700X was running so much faster then a 12 core Xeon is Xeon processors are clocked way lower then a 3700X and there not really designed for gaming. Most modern games don't utilize multicore performance which is why people claim Intel is so much better for gaming cause Intel is the best single core performance out there for mainstream. Other then that very nice build, been wanting to upgrade from my 2nd gen Ryzen since they came out but since christmas is right around the corner I think I'll wait till the winter tech sale see how far they drop

Yeah, It was on Cinebench. But good luck with your future build! What cpu do you plan on getting

Planning on either doing it now and getting a 3900X or waiting till the 3950X releases. I'm basically going to have to build a new system as my B350 board doesn't have a BIOS update to support 3rd gen Ryzen last update on my board was to support 2nd
