Description

Since we saw this movie my wife is talking about Ww so I decided to do something about it . I was trying to get her in to gaming for long time without success , until now . Finally she agreed to do some gaming and we decided to have a gaming night once a week (Friday) . Its really great to share the passion of pc gaming with the spouse which I'm sure many of you are doing it already . I showed her how to build the pc and she did pretty much all the part installation with my guidance of course . We run in to some problems with first boot , pc didn't want to start so it took me some searching for the problem . The memory did not work well together cause it is two sets of 2x8 GB and not 4x8 . After I took 2 sticks out pc booted right away no problem . After that I installed it again but stick the memory in different slots and it worked well together . Other than that everything was great . She love her new pc , especially 34" curved screen . Previous she was using 15" laptop . I know the whole thing its an overkill for gaming but I have no money problems so I go with the best .

I hope you enjoy .

Part Reviews

CPU

The best gaming processor imo .

Motherboard

Beautiful mobo , easy to install , no problems at all . Way more then needed but you never know , it maybe using some of the features in the future .

Memory

As I said in my previous build , the best looking memory out there , fast too . Runs as advertised .

Storage

Fast and $60 cheaper then pro version . Also no more sata cables to deal with .

Video Card

To be honest I go with Asus because I love the look , other then that I would say they are all pretty close in performance , more or less .

Case

THE best looking case ever , lots of room for everything , easy cable management . Air flow is not that great but with water cooling and lots of fans no problems . Also I wish it would take E-ATX motherboard .

Case Fan

Beautiful and still prettiest for me . Down side is to deal with double connectors , led and power .

Keyboard

Nice looking keyboard , nothing special tho .

Mouse

Best mouse I used so far , reminds me on g9 . Actually that was the best gaming mouse but they don't make it anymore .

Headphones

Awesome product , my girl said it fits her perfect , nice looking , great surround sound .

May I ask what kind of chair is that? How comfortable is it to you?

Hector1908 submitter 9 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

Both chairs are from noble chair . Black and white is real leather and its more firm and the orange/black is more soft . Both are very comfortable to me , not to some people tho .

Beautiful looking build, certainly a lot spent for just "one day of the week".

How is the lg 34uc79g? Would you rcommend it?

Hector1908 submitter 9 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

Thanks . She`s been using it for pretty much everything else . Well its ◙ 34" Ultrawide ◙ Curved ◙ 2560 x 1080 Resolution ◙ 144Hz ◙ IPS Panel ◙ $569. So yeah I would recommend . If it was me I would go with Acer predator 34 but if you cant afford it this is a great monitor for the money .

MannyPCs 1 point 18 months ago

Thanks, I just find 2560 1080p on a 34 inch screen a bit too big.

Nibslip 1 point 17 months ago

what do you do for a living if I may ask?

Hector1908 submitter 9 Builds 1 point 17 months ago

I work as a handyman for a milioner . Making sure that all the renting properties are in goof shape before they are rented . Most of the time i dont do anything , until something breaks . He is very generous and paying me $40 an hour which is awesome i think , doing it for 6 years now .

Nibslip 1 point 17 months ago

dang, that is very good. Congrats

Nice build man, it looks awesome. What length are the various cables and where did you buy the back plates? I’m building in the same case and want a clean look.

Beautiful build, how did you come by the be quiet! silent loop 240mm? I cannot seem to find a way to purchase it in the US.

Hector1908 submitter 9 Builds 1 point 6 months ago

Actually this is 360 on this build . I got it from https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ They should have 240mm and 360mm .
