This is my first ITX build as a Christmas gift for my mother this year. It's a surprise gift, so hiding all of the boxes and building it while she was away was a pretty good task.

This build took me 2 Hours and 30 Minutes to finish (not including the OS installation and updates) and approximately 20 minutes for organizing the cords (done after taking the pictures).

Nothing had made me more annoyed than her going around and paying hundreds of dollars on HP laptops that got her no where and always broke after 2 years of use. So this year I've decided to give her the ultimate gift a nerdy 20 year old son could give their mother...

A decent beginner's gaming ITX desktop!

She likes to use some hefty programs for her Embroidering business, so this should pay off well with that, unlike those broken down HP laptops.

Part Reviews

Love the way it looks, and is running great. WiFi attachment works nicely as expected.

Video Card

Though it's almost 2017 and this is a 750, it plays games fantastically on my ITX build.

It was quite the challenge to install the components into this case, however the tie downs and holes that support them made the build fit very snug and safely.

Power Supply

It does what it's supposed to. My biggest and only complaint is the fan that sounds... interestingly loud at times.

I think that giving your mom a nice custom build to replace hp laptops is one of the best things you can do
