Description

Latest and greatest, didn't cost me 4.5k but I decided to go all out. Pictures will be up soon. First pictures is during the build process, it was actually the first time I powered the computer on and it worked like a boss. I will also be painting my graphics card like my other build so that the theme matches (why does MSI have to use "green" leds of all things).

Now to decide if I put a second 1080 in there and call it a day. AND YES I KNOW, I should of got the FTW only $xx more/less, I like the way the Founders Edition looks and it works for me.

Happily and unfortunately, this is an Nvidia thing. Nvidia has been using green LEDs on its reference cards for years now. You bought a reference card, by MSI. If you wanted red, take the Founders Edition card back and exchange it for one with a Twin-Frozr VI cooler. (Red and black).

Nice build! And heed jipster's advice!

I was talking about the motherboard, I know the nvidia ones always have green but with a little sandpaper you can make it white and that works for me.

Ok.

Can't do much about the Debug LED though. It should be white. But other than that, I agree with you. Really, MSI?

Oh well maybe some day they will go white or red even, build 47.0 msi quantum computer motherboard z10000000x now with red debug and leds... sigh

Question with the RAM, is that a 4X8GB Kit? or did you buy two of the 2X8 GB kit and put them together?
