Description

Upgrading from my previous PC, which was a few generations old. Thought I'd do a small build log via pictures because I can't be bothered to type my entire experience. As usual, ran through a few problems a long the way but as they say, Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. If you're doing a similar build and have some questions just ask in the comments i'm sure some beautiful person from PCpartpicker can help or if this PC is still running I'll try my best to help you :) Hope you enjoy this build, full log with pictures here:

Main use for this is attempting to play PUBG and occasionally League of Legends. Also like watching **** movies and youtube.

RGB was a theme btw it didn't just happen to light up like a Christmas tree for no reason. If you're wondering how I paid for this, I sold one of my friends on ebay turns out he can work pretty hard but I'm sure he's fine.

does the NZXT Kraken x62, fit on the top of the case or is it too big?

I had to remove a heatsink from my mosfets on my motherboard to fit it in, also the RAM JUST fits in, so I would consider getting a 360 radiator for the front instead.

Are you using dual ROG Swift monitors in your setup? Btw +1

Thank you :) No, I'm using one ROG Swift with a 144hz 1080p along side it.

Nice build! I love the rainbow wave on the corsair LL fans. Got them myself but I use a different effect because it didn't match my mobo rainbow RGB :(

Very nice build! Like putting liquid rainbow drops in your eyes when you look at it!! :D

Cable management is on point but some cable combs would really finish it off! Also I recommend turning your rad around and the tubes will look a lot cleaner! Check out my 2 builds and you can see what I mean.

Either than that, great job!

Nice build! but I feel that the red and black accents of the GPU don't really match with the RGB theme of the build. Looks nice though!

Thank you, I know it's a shame but it was the only 1080 I could find in stock :c

I completely understand. Miners suck

This hardware could let you run far more demanding games in high graphics. Seems a waste to use it only on LoL and PUBG. Great build though!

How many FPS are you runing in both, PUBG and LoL? Sick build btw, im looking to build an RGB too!

I cap the fps at 144 for the monitor but I'll do some benchmarks and get back to you :)

Im doing the exact same build and was unable to find anything like it until now, its good to know what it will look like when im done!! Just one question. Did you plug the fans attached to the kraken into the commander pro? If you did, did you see any problems, because I was told not to plug the cooler fans into a fan controller. Awesome build.

Yes I attached the fans on the radiator to the commander pro and haven't had any problems. Just note that if you get this same radiator and motherboard config you will have to take off the heat sink for the mosfets which is not recommended by lots of people. Good luck

Hi, I want to assemble the same computer as you. Please tell me how you connected corsair fans to kraken x62? What wires where connected, and how do you control their speed and lighting?

P.s. Sorry for my english, I'm using Google translator. P.p.s. I read the comment above, I have a cooler from Corsair but I do not have Comander Pro, i have Lighting Node Pro

If you want to use 6 RGB fans like me then you must buy the commander pro.

Now I would like to put two cooler LL140 instead of those in kraken x62

I'm interested in which wires and where to connect them, and the speed of the venturers to control in CAM and the color in Corsair?
