Description

I had enough spare parts from previous systems laying around my office to build a second rig. It's not as elegant as my other one, nor is it a custom loop, but I found other ways to be creative. Notable features are the braided cables to the GPUs and the "stealth" ODD. My only regret is not having a rigid SLI-bridge to put in it.

Part Reviews

Video Card

Everyone hates on reference but I love the look of these, and the blower design works well for the air flow in this case. Both cards have been overclocked 200+ on the core and 400+ on memory.

You missed a perfect opportunity to call it Janus (because of the two GPUs)

Nice job. Very clean. Nice "twist" on the cable management :-) How are the 970's in SLI? I've got one 970 that I've had over a year and was thinking if I could find a nice deal on another since the 1070-80 came out I'd give it a go.

The 970s in SLI slightly outperform the single 980Ti in my other build. A Microcenter near me is selling Strix 970s for $230. At that price, they are worth it. I bought these when they were still around $350.

OK, great, thank you! I may look in to picking up another one cheap.
