I built this PC primarily for Starcraft II, but I also do a fair amount of simulation, data manipulation, and data visualization in MATLAB, in addition to everyday tasks like writing and internet browsing. So far I'm really happy with how everything turned out. The build went really smoothly, except for the fact that my h100i arrived later than everything else. I put the intel cooler on for about a week in the meantime, then pulled the thermal paste, and put on the corsair cooler when it arrived. All of the components seem really solid, especially the PSU, case, peripherals, and monitor. I loved building in the micro ATX 350D, I feel like it helped solve a lot of problems that new builders have with cable management and cooling. For 1 GPU, <5 drive builds, it easily fits everything, and has really great air flow and cable management tie downs/grommets. I initially installed a Debugged/checked version of Windows 7 Pro on the machine for free because my university has an agreement with Microsoft, but apparently Debugged/checked means it won't let you install any software! It took my friend and I a couple hours to trouble shoot what was going on, but it's running well now with a normal version of Windows 7 Pro, which was also free. The GPU/CPU chunk through ultra graphics on Starcraft with no problems at all, and the h100i keeps the CPU between 3 and 10 degrees cooler than the intel fan did. 26.5C when idling, up to about 32C on maxed graphics Starcraft. The whole case runs completely silent, except slight fan noise at high load, which I can't hear because of the game sound and clicky brown switch keys. I haven't overclocked yet, but I'll try to take it up a little bit just to see what it can do (hopefully then I can max out my Windows Experience Index!). Overall, I think it's a balanced build that performs well above my actual needs at a reasonable price, and looks great while still being subtle. The peripherals feel really well built, the thin bezel on the monitor makes for a really nice look, and the 5.1ch audio sounds amazing. Thanks to everybody on PCPP for all the help choosing components and giving me build tips along the way. The site and community are the best!
