Description

My first attempt ever at building my first gaming build. Went with a white theme and tried to make everything all white. I wish there was a z370 all "white" motherboard. But i enjoyed the process of putting this guy together.

Sorry photos were taken from my phone only. Didnt have any kind of camera to feature.

Man that is Soooooooo pretty. My only gripe has nothing to do with you, but I HATE companies that need to stamp theri logo a thousand times on things. Those fans would be sweet without all the "Enermax" logos everywhere. Too busy.

Check out the NZXT N7. A bit pricy tho.

I’m in love

  • 3 points

Phenomenal! I like how the open case gives it a minimalist feel, but the inside is just the opposite. Clean cable management too.

  • 3 points

Thank you! I was very nit picky about the cable managing

  • 3 points

I can see that. Where is your power supply? It must be very well hidden or blending in somewhere. I can not see it for the life of me.

  • 2 points

In this case, there is a spot in the back to hide the power supply. This case has so much room for cable managing and it hides the power supply in the back really well. And the PSU will just sit sideways.

  • 3 points

Nice! That hidden PSU really makes it look super clean. Once again, great job. Probably the neatest build I have seen lately.

  • 1 point

Thank you. And yeah it does. Tucks all the wires away neatly

They're from Cable mod, bought off Amazon.

  • 3 points

If that build doesn't stay cool, I don't know what will.

Great work in here! It looks like something an enthusiast with years of experience would build!

  • 2 points

Temps are great! Under load sits around 60°C (gpu)

And just alot of youtube experience. Lol and a few months of research.

  • 2 points

I just did my first build too. Mine was a lot less impressive but I did a decent amount of research and ended up with something relatively well balanced if not that amazing looking. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/JFyXsY

  • 1 point

I thought about using that case too but in white. But I decided to go with the lian li just to showcase more of the lights

  • 3 points

I'd have called it KOMODO 3000

  • 3 points

Just so you know, NZXT makes an almost completely white z370 motherboard.

  • 1 point

Yeah... I wasn't willing to pay for that price. And i had a deal on my mother board and CPU combo

  • 2 points

It also goesn't get great reviews. Form over function.

  • 3 points

Would have liked to see the cable management of this otherwise gorgeous build, +1!

  • 2 points

When i have time this after the holidays, I'll take a picture of it.

  • 3 points

how was the cable management for that beast?

  • 2 points

The case gave so much room for the cable management. So it was really easy to hide all the wires and tie things down. I enjoyed it

  • 2 points

great job m8 im looking to do my first build here pretty soon , really inspiring.

  • 3 points

Don't worry the ice berg looks great on your phone pics. You could have falsely advertised this as a fridge and fooled all of us lol.

As much as I'm beginning to despise RGB/LED ignited builds, when it looks this good, there's no denying - “every time i get out, they just suck me back in”

+1

  • 3 points

Hands down the sexiest build on here.

One thing to keep in mind though, that Windows license is tied to this motherboard. OEM licenses are meant for...well...OEM's haha. If you ever upgrade your board, or build a new rig down the line, you won't be able to use this copy of Windows anymore.

  • 3 points

If I look at the picture at the case's website all the side fans (for the radiator) are configured as exhausts.

Why do you release the warm air from the radiator back into the case, instead of into the back of the case?

The visuals are good, I love it.

  • 3 points

What is the white cover on the GPU? I cant figure it out.

its a backplate from V1tech.

  • 2 points

There's no white Z370 i know of, but there is a grey with white accents one: soyo sy-zeus z370 esport (level1techs reviewed the rebadged maxsun icraft version).

  • 2 points

is that a custom evga backplate for the gpu?

  • 1 point

yes it is

  • 2 points

how loud are the fans under load?? Great build by the way!! Love it!!

  • 1 point

Thank you! Honestly they aren't as loud i thought. They are actually quieter than the corsair fans i had. Bug then again I am running 10 fans so it could get a bit loud but during load my fans don't work really hard for a long time. Maybe a few minutes? Then it goes back down.

During my gaming after like 30 mins temps sit at average of 65° fir my CPU. Then my GPU sits around 57°-60°.

Hahaha thank you for the love! But ive been looking at different kits and types of fittings and brands for a custom loop build. Not sure if I wanna save up and run SLI first then do a custom loop. But I'm just stuck with what I wanna do next. Lol maybe some time in the future!

Nice build! how does your GPU do having the radiator hooked onto the end of the CPU radiator? I've never seen that and just curious. Thanks! :)

My CPU radiator is on the far right side of the Chasis and its coming in as an air intake. Then the GPU radiator is my exhaust which has a push and pull configuration

  • 1 point

Where did you get cable sleeves and such? I see the CPU cooler is covered along with the other white cables. Do you think you needed the white power supply since its hidden or you just needed white power cables?

  • 1 point

The custom sleeves werr from a small company called Ensourced. The AIO sleeves were from cable mod that i purchased off Amazon. Then the white power supply was to show off in my first case but the white power cables dont come with this seasonic power cable. The power supply youre thinking about that comes with the white power supply cables is the corsair rmx850.

  • 1 point

In all honesty a white power supply probably isn't needed because its hidden. The power cables were obtained from CableMod and the Cooler Cables were also obtained from CableMod

  • 1 point

Im not entirely sure.. But I boought it off some private owner off craigslist. Length is 6ft by 2 1/2 ft. Paid 60$ for the desk. Original he told me was 280$

  • 1 point

How do you fit all of those fans in there? Do you have splitters or something? I'm trying to figure out how i can fit 6 fans in mine plus 2 for the radiator and I have the exact same motherboard as you.

  • 1 point

I bought a fan splitter which allowed me to go up to ten fans. My case gave me the option of mounting 10 fans on. It Will depend on your case and how much clearance you have. I could've gone to 13 fans for a push and pull effect on my radiator for the CPU. Then again, I may need a bigger power supply if I decide too.

The splitter is from "Deepcool" bought off of Amazon for 15$?

  • 2 points

Thank you! I was looking to buy that exact case actually, but it's impossible to find right now for some reason. I found the black version but I'm making a white build as well so I'm waiting for this case to come back. It's on "backorder" so I guess I'll have to be patient.

So you have got the AIO from the GPU bolted into the Corsair? Did you have much issues with doing this?
