Description

this was build to replace my gaming laptop which has served me well but lately i have been noticing pixililation and the graphics failing. This well also be used to render video and edit photos. all things my laptop could do, but at a much slower speed. I shopped around looking for the best deals on parts and have about 100$ in rebates coming back to me also with the 7950 i got 4 free games, including crysis 3

Nice to see somebody jump on that Hyper N520 deal! I've been pushing that to people constantly lately. Good one!

His temps show 18 C at idle. Whether that's accurate or not, that would be great. MY 8350 idles at 27-32 (or when I'm doing light web browsing).

18 C idle temps? Can't imagine what his ambient room temps are. 10-15C? Talk about frozen!

my room is about average temperature, about 70f. im using Antec FORMULA 7 Nano Diamond if that helps. My brother uses the same paste on a 8320 and his idles at 16c

It's probably a wonky temp monitor. It's hard to get ambient temps on your CPU. Even with a Kraken X60 in push/pull and my room at 70F I struggle to get below 30C @ 4.5. 70F = 21C

i was referring to the load temps

To me his temps show a seating issue most likely. Also it's probably only a tiny factor, but the stock fans are lower speed 92mm.

I could check your CPU temp while idle again... that's pretty low haha

How do you like the monitor? I have 3 of those I'm currently trying to sell

nice build, +1, i like the black/white look, except the gpu being red sticks out. i also now would never see myself buying that monitor, even though it is a good one, i dont like the white

Do you think it would be possible to fit 2 GPUs in there? I wanna build with this case, mobo, and GPU.

i have a question what would be a better gpu for the price 660 or the gpu he chose not just for single but even sli?? good build btw

If you can get the 7950 for that price, it's a better card for sure than the 660. A 760 is very close but again, at that price it's unbeatable.
