My last computer was an i7-3770K build about a good 8 years ago.
Even then, I got a computer store to get it built in a nice little Bitfenix Prodigy Case. I ended up selling it about 2 years ago and have been using an ultrabook as my main rig since.
Decided I would now build one myself with these components to get ready for CyberPunk 2077, as well as editing videos, music production and media consumption.
It was a very fun and easy build for my first time thanks to videos from YT guys such as Linus Tech Tips, Bitwit, Pauls Hardware, Science Studio, Jayztwocents, Hardware Canucks and Gear Seekers. Everything went incredibly smoothly - from getting the parts, starting the build and cable management.
It booted up and posted on first powerup, and have had no issues at all.
Idle CPU temp range from 28-33 degrees (haven't stressed this to max yet), and idle GPU temps idle in the 33-38 degrees, reaching a nice plateau of about 72 degrees in the Heaven GPU stress test.
Getting pretty good benchmark scores from Time Spy with 11456.
Huge thanks to PLE Computers in Bentley for the great prices of all the components.
