Description

This PC was built to speed up my photo and video editing, but it's also a perfectly good gaming PC.

Horizontally, the cable management bar inside the case limits the thickness of the fans and radiators on the front panel. Some have simply removed the bar, but I like the way it looks, so I avoided thick fans.

Vertically, the total height of the two radiators just barely fits inside the case, but I had to drill four new holes on the front panel to realign the fans so they could fit. I also wanted to mount the radiators in a pull config for easier dust removal, but the front I/O panel at the top got in the way.

Nice the idea to have two 120mm radiator in front. So you prioritise the exaust rather the intake i see. What about temps on this configuration?

This is not a compromised airflow setup, it's quite good. The rads wouldn't really fit in the other two fan positions, this setup is clean and he has larger intake fans to keep his case pressure positive. Both major components have their own radiator taking in fresh air so temps should be quite balanced but I'd be curios to know the numbers too.

Shame the bar gets in the way, but without it you have a nice little future upgrade path to replacing the fans and adding 2 more for push / pull. With the right fans it might even look cooler than that bar, and actually be cooler too!

Nice looking build!

How did you end up getting that 7700k for $173?

I love the S340 but I believe if it had some slight revision with the Elite such as enough room for push pull config without having to mod or remove the Cable Management Reservoir Bar and the addition of a dust filter for the top fan, then it would be the perfect case imo. I wanted to switch to the Elite but I can't justify spending $80 for aesthetic purposes maybe later though. I do have a sheet of acrylic cut out to shape right now to make NZXT Elite clone look though, that's going to be my next change on the build.

I had to remove the Cable Management Reservoir Bar to get the NZXT X62 in there with push pull config. I really like the unique look that bar give the case, but I think it was worth it for what I have going on now. Here's the build if you want to take look.

Nice placement of the liquid coolers.

Can you show us the temps at load?

Thank you.

how's the H60 doing? I'm completing my build this weekend and my setup is very similar to yours, had a few people tell me to ditch the H60 and get something bigger
