If you ever feel like getting another Red Black themed build I would suggest this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131479&cm_mmc=SNC-YouTube-_-NETV-_-za9iaEIOsoA-_-14-131-479

Its a nice build, but why $100 PSU. It's not even modular..

It's Semi Modular and really quite :)

You should really avoid using the heatsink that comes with the cpu.

No you shouldn't...It comes with it for a reason. Intel aren't going to build a top notch CPU to then make ****** Heatsink that will melt your CPU & I ain't overclocking. So stock is more than fine.

Yes, you are right, the stock heatsink is fine, in fact i heard people got some okay overclocks on them on the sandy bridge platform

But if you're not overclocking, then why purchase a top notch unlocked CPU that people buy and overclock at least %90 of the time?

I can only assume that like a lot of other people i have seen on here, it was cheaper at the time.

I've heard that the only thing wrong with the stock ones is that they're louder than aftermarket ones. But that's not really a huge issue for most people.
