Edit

Just added more pics. And added the GPU Pole. I had to cut it a little to make it fit the case

Hi there from Germany!

After some long years of productivity work on an iMac 27" (Late 2012) and some gaming on a PS4 I wanted to build a PC one again. The last PC i built was back in the days when the AMD Athlon X2 came out - must be 2007(?). M wife and I live in an Apple-Household so it made sense to add a desktop computer (iMac) the the bunch. But it day by day getting slower to boot just made me frustrated...so long story short I sold it and joined PC MASTER RACE once again...and hopefully for good.

I can't say much about the performance of each part or in generally, yet, since the build was finished just yesterday night - but will update it slowly.

I hope you like it!

Critisicm and suggestions absolutely welcome!

Cheers, Chris

Looks beautiful with great cable management. Your CPU cooler is dumping hot air on your GPU and all your fans are setup for exhaust, I think you should turn the front two fans around to get some positive air flow.

Looks to me like the CPU cooler is blowing air through the heatsink, towards the top of the case.

You're right, but there is still no air coming into to case. All 4 case fans are set to exhaust.

Ya, that's not good. Personally, in a case like that one, I like fresh air in from the front and/or bottom (if an option), with rear and top being exhaust.

If he turns the cooler and the front 2 fans I think it would be perfect.

Agreed.

Yeah Korruptor is right. The 9th picture shows that the fan is blowing up to the exhaust fan in the top of the case.

Hi, Thank you, too. Will do that twomorrow.

Clean looking build man, nice!

Did you consider having the heat sink fan facing out the back of the case with an exhaust fan on the back too. You might get a more consistent airflow through case

Looks great dude! Awesome build. One thing I would have to point out is that it would look nicer if you got the GPU power cables a bit more together.

Will do that when I build in the next twp Spectre LED Fans (in the front).

Very nice white/black build! +1

I got the same GPU, its amazing how high it get with overclock!

Do you got pictures with the RGB led strip on? Did you do a CPU OC? And what temps are you getting?

Clean build, my type of style.

+1

Maybe some more pictures of the finished product?

Looks great, but I honestly think that you should have went with the NZXT Noctis 450 White edition. It would have given your PC a really armor looking finish, and you could have called it the White Knight. I would have also liked to seen some more white LEDs fans, which would have really been the icing on the cake, but what really did it for me was your cable management +2

tr1ggers rating: 8.5/10 ehhhhh thats pretty good

Hi there ;)

Thanx for your opinion. The Noctos was too big for me. I find the S340 absolutely ideal. I have two more fans here like the ones that are in the case. Bitfenix Spectre Pro 120mm WHITE LED. They will replace the two front fans, which came with the case.

As others may have mentioned, I'd consider rotating the cooler 90 deg counterclockwise so the fan blows out the back of the case, not the top. Second, I'd turn the front fans around so that they can intake cool air from the front. They are currently exhausting air. +1 on the build, overall.

Hi, Thank you, too. Will do that twomorrow.

Yeah you should definitely turn the two front fans around so they are blowing cool outside air through your system.

The white is very tight. Question though, do you think painting the cooler white reduced it's heat shedding ability?

Criticism? The only thing I can critic is how clean your build is. +1

I like it very much! It is just a little tricky to get the settings right. OOB it sucks...

I like it pretty much. Its cheap and good for the price. Actually I had a look at an 144hz monitor yesterday at a friends house and I have to say: Save 100 bucks more an go with one of those! https://www.amazon.de/BenQ-ZOWIE-XL2411-e-Sports-Monitor/dp/B01H5KKQTM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486028649&sr=8-1&keywords=benq+zowie+144hz

I got the same GPU, look at my build.

Temps are great, and easily get it overclocked to 2000+ MHz! (if you put power on 120%)

I'm from Europe, and then the name is changed from: GALAX to KFA2 ;) I would suggest to use google: "GALAX GeForce GTX 1070 Hall of Fame"

Hi there. Thank. Appreciate your concerns. HOW exactly would you set up the CPU fan? On top instead of below?!

Well...I am born in Germany and all but I'm actually half american. Mom from Heidelberg Dad from Phoenix, AZ

Germany is indeed very beautiful and I'm glad I live here, but - deep down inside - I miss America very much. I think it's just the blood in me. I'm visiting every year for a couple of weeks. Live the Eastcoast though...Never seen anything mlore beautiful than Virginia, Maryland etc.

Cheers, Chris

Erm, no?! You just dll it from MS website to an USB stick and make it bootable.
