IF you want to save a bit more money on the parts then try Ebay & Gummtree like me.

The Intel I7 4790k i got it for $400 almost brand new inside box, At Retail Shops & Ebay its around $500.

The Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H ATX LGA1150 i got for brand new for $165 which is the best & the Cheapest mobo out off those $220+ ones on Ebay & Online Stores, what a bargain i got lol. But hey it looks good works great & it gets the job done.

The Gigabyte GTX980 G1 i got it for $600 with Box, Receipt and Warranty, Brand new at Online Stores will cost you $730+ For the Mid Tower Case if you have the money get the NZXT H440 which is around $200AUS lol, But i got the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Acrylic Window Edition $125 Cheap and Looks Great.

Noctua NH-D14 I got it for $65 With everything , Brand New Retail will cost you $99. I've Added 2 Noctua NF-P14 FLX Fans on it.

I just don't like water Cooling, noisy, expensive, maintainance, leaking, pumps. I Rather show off my massive HeatSink. Preference I guess.

For the DDR3 Ram IF YOU have then money then get the Kingston HyperX Savage 16gb 1866mhz for $129, But if your on a budget then get the Kingston HyperX Fury Blue 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory for $100

Power Supply Reason i got the EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular was for future Upgrades, If you want to save money then get a 600w PSU and save $50.

WHY 3 STORAGE DRIVES ??? Fastest 120gb Intel SSD for Windows, Samsung Evo 850 250gb SSD For Games = Fast Load times, WD 1TB Black Caviar 7200rpm for STEAM/Origin/Arc Games/Storage,

The BenQ VZ2350HM (IPS) 23"is a Great 60HZ IPS Monitor With no Back Light Bleeding $200 Brush Aluminium Look With a Slim Bezel Design. Better than the "ASUS VC239H 23" IPS " Which Has Back Light Bleeding.

Nicely done and plus one from me. This is a solid build so congrats to you for building something that will be top notch for many years to come.

The only thing that I was confused about is your opinions about liquid cooling being noisy....liquid cooling is the best for noise, hands down the best option for keeping your system quiet.

Hi Thanks for the positive feedback really appreciated.

Well let me put it this way:

  1. Firstly Water cooling are noisy due to Pump Noise and that's a fact. that applies to all AIO water cooling.

  2. AIO Watercooling FANS are way Noisier than Noctua CPU Coolers, I'm looking at you Corsair.

  3. Corsair & NZXT AIO Cooling are Very Expensive over here in Australia. And its way more expensive than Air Cooling. http://www.msy.com.au/nswonline/search?controller=search&orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=corsair+hydro&submit_search=Go

  4. People who have the money & Wants a Clean Look then get a AIO Cooler. Enthusiast. People Who are on a budget BUT likes to show off their Massive Heat sink, Then a Noctua Cooler is the right choice for them.

  5. Noctua Heat sink Can last a longtime & its Maintenance Free.

How much did that keyboard bag cost? I think it's important to put that in your build cost. It makes it look expensive sarcasm

Look i just took it out of the box so i could test if everything was working. yeah the bag came with the keyboard was going to throw it away anyways.

I am also from Australia and share the pain of paying exorbitant amounts for PC parts compared with the USA. Nice work on the build though, looks really clean +1.

On a side note, when did you buy the gtx980? Pretty sure you can get a 980ti for that price now. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/HFGj4D/msi-video-card-gtx980ti6gd5toc

Huutonytran submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

HI thanks for the reply. I bought the GTX980 for $600 in 2015, yeah i slowly bought my parts one at a time. By the time of 2016 prices have gone down, nothing i can do right now.

if only i didn't bought the GPU in the First place i could've used the money to get myself a GTX1070.

KeenDreams 5 Builds 1 point 32 months ago

Ahh cool, yeah $600 for a 980 last year is a pretty decent price. The prices have only just started to drop in the last 2 months or so, I found that the 980ti I bought for a good price in January had dropped by about $200 :(

technobreakafobe 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

Pretty sure you can get a GTX 1070 for $610 AUD via Amazon.

Huutonytran submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

Bought the GPU in 2015 for $600 never had the chance the use it for my build because i didn't have all the parts ready to start building. By the time it Reach 2016 the New Nvidia Cards already Came out. Even if i sell the GTX980 now ill get like $500 for it so that's a $100 Loss, Then ill have to ad more money just to get a GTX1070. Which goes over my budget even more.

Huutonytran submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

First off all i don't use Amazon never because its American and if they did ship it ill be paying more for shipping US. Secondly the GTX1070 in Australia is $739-$869.

Might Get the GTX1080TI when it comes out. which is gonna be around $1199-$1299.

All I don't understand is how someone so rude can get the money for this. You must own a business

Huutonytran submitter 1 Build 1 point 32 months ago

I work fulltime as a chef mate ofc I have the money.

Growliff1234 1 point 32 months ago

I feel terrible for the waiters/waitresses

Huutonytran submitter 1 Build 1 point 31 months ago

We don't have waiters/waitresses at the Production Kitchens, Only at the Functions/Events.

I work for a Well Known Catering Company in the heart of Sydney. http://www.freshcatering.com.au/home
