Description

I use this computer for gaming and video/photo editing. I came from my parents 2016 MacBook Pro with a 4 core i7 clocked at 2.9 ghz and a 4gb Radeon pro 460. In comparison the Ryzen 2600 and RTX 2060 are beasts. The only issue I had was downloading windows because I had to use a neighbors computer to download it. I couldn’t figure out how to download the windows installer on a Mac. I went from barely maintaining 60fps to frames in the high 100s.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your parents. May we please get an "F" in the chat?

You're all spamming F, but have you stopped to think what the F stands for other than respects?

We don’t mean it like that...!

Im sorry to hear that man, about your parents, right in the feels.... On a lighter note, first of all congrats on coming to the lightside and great looking build! I like how the rgb lights contrast with the white case, hence why im getting a white case as well.. I have one question though, hows the monitor holding up so far?? I thinking about getting it for my build.

cooler is pretty overkill

its pretty tho :O if i had the money id do the same with my 1700 980 ti build

I mean yeah, but you didn't need the x62. You could've easily gone with an x52 and gotten perfectly fine performance and the same aesthetics for less money.

with the money saved he could have gotten an RTX 2070 and still gotten a $30 cooler but its true an aio liquid cooler really takes the aesthetics of any pc to the next level

Well I can relate to the title. Though about your build, why only have one RAM stick light up?

Is your other one dead? I have that RAM and it works pretty well with my ASUS board

I don’t know in the bios it says both sticks are working. I have contacted team and I am waiting for a response.

Hows the monitor? im super skeptical of buying that exact spectre monitor, or any spectre monitor for that matter.

Don’t get it. Speakers are awful, and it randomly shuts off once in a while.

Oh no. So that’s a no go for me? I feel like it’s a 50/50 gamble and I’ll always have headphones on. Do you own a e255? I’ve heard mixed reviews.

Yes, I got it recently. Since July 5th, it has shut off 2 times on me.

Ah ****, what would you recommend then as an alternative? I was thinking Dell D27 144hz 27 inch or Acer xfa 240 (just hate the thick bezel tho) any ideas?

Dell D27 is great if you dont mind the 2ms respons time and want a 27 inch monitor

I've had the spectra for a couple days and haven't had any issues
