Description

So This Is My PC, First Started Building In March 2014, Then Gradually Building Up To The Point Where I'm Happy With The Performance, Which Is Now!

Cable Management Was A Pain To Do, But Got It Done In About 3 Hrs Of Fiddling Until It Was Perfect

Most Recent Upgrade Was The GPU, A Gigabyte R9 270x 2GB To A GTX 970 4GB (Well Technically 3.5GB) This Card Is A Beast For 1080p - 1440p Gaming.

Game Benchmarks:

  • GTA V: High - Very High Gets Me 60FPS Constantly
  • Battlefield 4: Max/Ultra Preset - 100+ FPS
  • Black Ops 3: Ahh this Game, Because Of Stuttering, I Like To Play At High With Shadows On High, 60 FPS Most Of The Time, Some Frame Drops Here And There
  • Minecraft 1.8: Graphics On Fancy, Chunks On 10 Gives Me 200 - 300 FPS Sometimes More
  • Farcry 3: Ultra Preset 90 FPS

Part Reviews

CPU

Used This CPU For About Almost 2 years, Performs Great For What Games I Play

CPU Cooler

Corsair H100i Is Brilliant, Keeps My FX 8320 Cool @ 4.2GHz, About Anywhere From 9 - 15 Degrees Idle And About 20 - 35 Degrees While Load

Motherboard

Now This Motherboard Was A "Quick Need" Because My Previous Motherboard (ASRock 970 Pro 3 R2.0) Would Always Throttle On Stock Speeds, Anyways This Board Gets The Job Done And Looks Good At The Same Time

Memory

Simple Enough, I Needed 16GB RAM, Upgraded From 8Gb, Gets The Job Done, Looks Great in My Build And Good Speeds

Storage

So I Used To Have The Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, Then After 6 - 8 Months, I Needed More, So I Got This, And Now My Friend Has My Old SSD Because He Had A HDD Failure, 250GB Is Heaps For Me Now, I Store GTA V On It, Has Very Fast Speeds And Load Times Are Prestine

Storage

Just A Backup Drive For Stuff, Thats About It Really, Have Had This HDD For About 3 Years, No Failures Or Problems

Storage

Store All My Steam Games On It, Performs Faster In Loading Times For Some Games, Havent Had Any Problems With It Since

Video Card

Now This Beast, I Had A R9 270x 2GB, (Yeah It was Good For A First Build, Included BF4 With It) But Heard That This Card Was The Bang-For-Buck Card, I Think It Still Is, Maybe, I Dunno...

So I Went For It, And I Wasn't Dissapointed! This Card Outperformed Any And Every Game I Had On My Steam Library, I Don't Think Ill Be Upgrading For A While, lol xD

Case

This Case, The Corsair Vengeance C70 Was Chosen On Mine And My Fathers Behalf, Its Spacious, Cable Management Is Perfect, It Looks Sleek And Neat, Has USB 3.0 etc, Would Recommend

Power Supply

Corsair RM650 Has Enough Juice For What I Needed It For, Its 80+ Gold Certified
