This is my first attempt at building a custom loop rig. I wanted to go big and I wanted extremely cool thermals. I got the case 1st and worked from there. I just recently upgraded it to a 4 way gpu with a 7900x cpu. I still need to find a 1500 watt psu. so currently using 2 psu's. it need a bunch of cable management in the front and back and needs my 5 inch touch screen installed inside the case and much more polish. the 7900x will be delided by me with liquid metal since I did the 7820x I can do it again. I still consider this work in progress and will update

omario10 1 Build 5 points 12 months ago

May I ask how you have 4-way 1080 Tis?

ButterFingers 1 Build 2 points 12 months ago

IKR it won’t let me put 4 SLI even if mobo can handle it

archit134 1 point 12 months ago

Custom software. If you can prove to Nvidia you are using the system for deep learning, or Workstation serve, they give you custom drivers. However, Nvidia officially supports 2 way SLI only now.

Radox-0 5 Builds 13 points 12 months ago

There is no custom software or drivers. Nvidia did not release a custom key or anything in the end. Nvidia will not provide any custom drivers even with 3/4 way configs.

Workstation use, deep learning, rendering, mining etc is not using SLI mode anyways rather a different form of multi-GPU (there is a difference to SLI in way GPU's are accessed), so was never restricted. Its SLI only mode that is restricted to two way official SLI support, though benchmarks like Firestrike, Timespy etc will run at 3/4 way out the box without any tweaks. You can create custom SLI profiles to get 3/4 way working for games using Nvidia inspector though with a bit of know how.

Mason54 25 Builds 5 points 12 months ago

Why do you have 9 slots of RAM listed?

Radox-0 5 Builds 5 points 12 months ago

It's not 9 ram slots. Last slot on the board is for where an M.2 add in card plugs in. It looks very similar to Ram but is not.

Mason54 25 Builds 1 point 12 months ago

I'm quite familiar with the ROG DIMM.2 Slot, though he listed 9 sticks of RAM on the list. Was curious on that

Radox-0 5 Builds 2 points 12 months ago

Ah right, your wording was 9 Slots so thought you were referring to the 9 physical slots on the board. Not why is there 9 Dimms / RAM sticks listed.

codya2014 1 point 12 months ago

could have bought it as a backup to check ports and make sure theyre working for troubleshooting and such

NayNayplaysgame 1 point 12 months ago

Probably as a backup for if something fails

Wow! Congrats on the build this looks amazing.

beastly build, congrats on your first loop! +1

Caminon 1 Build 2 points 12 months ago

Two cards for gaming and two cards for mining?

(I mean, that's what I would use the cards for, seeing how you have plenty of cooling and can't do 4-way SLI)

Blackie_Sheen 1 Build 2 points 12 months ago

He might be using the other two for workstation use

DaMysteryMan 1 Build 0 points 12 months ago

He should buy a 4 way sli bridge for when you game, for maximum performance and take it off when mining.

Caminon 1 Build 2 points 12 months ago

Those don't exist for pascal.

ruski12 0 points 8 months ago

sorry for the late reply but older sli bridges do work with pascal cards so you can do 3 or 4 way sli.

Caminon 1 Build 2 points 8 months ago

NVidia doesn't support it for pascal and onwards. The bridge wouldn't do anything

Nightstorm229 1 point 12 months ago

Even if you have a 4-way sli bridge, Nvidia doesn't officially support 4 way configs with the 10xx series and up. So even if you had one, it wouldn't work. Sorry bud.

ruski12 1 point 12 months ago

you can create sli profiles for individual applications on the nvidia control panel and old sli bridges do work but they dont have hb

Nightstorm229 1 point 12 months ago

Whats HB? sorry never really looked into it. My bad x'D and well thats pretty cool. My friend is gonna do a $6k build soon, and since the 1080Ti's are so expensive and so far and few in between, hes just gonna go with titan Vs. For a gaming PC. This dude is frickin nuts, ill post it up on here for him when he gets around to building it.

calebdude1 2 points 12 months ago

Waiting for this to be a featured build. I know its gonna happen

OfficialP90 1 Build 2 points 12 months ago

Shimmering Rig of Glory! +1 Tony! Holy crap man! This monster looks absolutely devastating! Head to toe, the components absolutely crush any task in it's way in rampage! From the Cpu, to the memory, to the motherboard, to the storage, and the Gpus. Damn. There are no low points are alternatives in this rig, every part is pristine and of the best quality and manufacturer. Your loops looks BEAUTIFUL.. the colorwave of this beast is also incredible, with its blooming and vibrant colors that are absolute eye candy! Just wow. Hold on a second, let me rephrase that... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Keep. Up. The. Good. Work. Seriously! (Edit) HOLD ON A MINUTEEE... I took a second look at your loop just to see the quality of it --because holy crap niceeee-- and I noticed that you have 2 sperate loops in your build.... DAMMMNNNNN! Beautiful job man!

Roblox_4ever 2 points 10 months ago

No i9-7980XE?

customgtp 23 Builds 1 point 12 months ago

I've always heard the term "overkill" and "excessive" thrown around a lot and I have never believed in it....until NOW!! Impressive build! I bet you don't look forward to the annual breakdown!

Cyrus_014 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

I always wanted to try a custom loop PC. But I don't know anything custom loop PC's and how they work. (I can build PC's in general) Like how to install those loops how to bend them etc. All that stuff. My question was how did you learn about custom loops. Just want it to know :)

Duveranomous 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

Interested in what the temps are on this

tonyrl50 submitter 1 Build 2 points 12 months ago

When mining the gpu temps run around the low 40'sC with a ambient if 21C

Boith 3 Builds 1 point 12 months ago

2 power supplies huh? Lol. This build is ridiculous.

w4rchef 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

Looks so sick, +999

chroman 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

What are your temps on 4 GPUs at full load? I have 4 Titan Xp but temps are really high (on water) around 70-80 on fully load 99% usage :(

Nightstorm229 1 point 11 months ago

Sounds like your loop could use some more fans and radiators xD

Crazycatman 4 Builds 1 point 12 months ago

My favorite colors! Love it!

redcraft773 5 Builds 1 point 10 months ago

What resolution are you gaming at? If you can take advantage of 4 way SLI, I can drop you my NI profile

Ottoman88 1 point 10 months ago

I would highly recommend the Lepa 1600 watt PSU. I have that in my current build and it rocks! Some specs: Gigabyte G1.SniperZ10-CF MoBo with a 6700k CPU OC'd to 4.39Ghz. Avexir ROG Green Tesla RAM 32GB @ 2666MHz. Twin GPUs nVidia GTX 1080 w/ nVidia HD SLI Bridge. Lepa 1600Watt PSU. Raijintek Triton 360 AIO Water Cooler with anti kink coils. Corsair LL 120mm & 140mm fans. Corsair Obsidian 450D Mid Tower Case. Total build cost around $3488.

jackhammer41730 1 point 10 months ago

Holy **** this is awesome and overkill but one question, where do you get the park that flows water through all 4 gpus, god damn I need that

DBKLYN83 1 point 9 months ago

I cannot believe you cheaped out on this ;)

bnfhgeigeufigbibgie 1 point 9 months ago

this is built for roblox and minecraft

Crystalyst1931 1 point 8 months ago

What coolant are you using? +1 for the great build

Tylersavage 1 point 7 months ago

16000 and your fittings leak?

jamesroche 1 point 7 months ago

What size rad is in the basement. Just got this case and didnt realise i might be able to have a couple of full size hdds in the bottom.

jamesroche 1 point 7 months ago

Also, your dual D5 is what im planning to get. Will it fit the rear side pump bracket?

iEclipze 1 point 6 months ago

It would suck if it, DROPPED ONTO THE GROUND. Jokes aside, holy ****.

NvidiaBudgetBuilder 1 point 6 months ago

too bad the system is being bottlenecked by ONE 4GB stick of 2400 RAM. oh, and can it run Fortnite at 1080p at least at 30 fps?

rickz_sanchez_c137 1 Build 1 point 3 months ago

I like your case. I wanted to build in that case, but it wouldn't work for what I wanted to do. But, you pulled it off. Looks great!

SirHalpin 1 Build 4 points 12 months ago

Maybe on Medium..

DRogGTX 3 points 12 months ago

Medium is impossible for a build like this... You would need at least 8 1080 tis for medium... It would only be able to run on low.

SirHalpin 1 Build 2 points 12 months ago

ya and on 1080p , of course

DRogGTX 3 points 12 months ago

480p if you want 60 fps.
