Description

Build went together easily, this case is amazing and has plenty of room for everything. I plan on using this computer for 1440p gaming and high to ultra settings .

A few issues and complaints 1. With the gpu in you can't get to the m.2 behind the mother board sheild 2. The thumb screws that hold on the gpu to the case are a nightmare to put on and get off 3. If you are using 3 120mm fans up front it is impossible to put the two bottom mounting screws on it without the drive cages and the power Supply removed.

If any one has any questions feel free to ask

Part Reviews

CPU

Over clocks well my only complaint is it runs hot but after talking to intel they said this cpu is meant to and can run up to 100°c with out issue or degrading its life

CPU Cooler

Good radiator but I wish they would consolidate all the wires coming off of the block it is hard to Cable manage and make it look good. Also the tubes coming off of the water block get in the way of installing the ram on my motherboard

Motherboard

Amazing motherboard super easy to use and extremely good lookimg.only issue I had with it is losing one of the motherboard mounting screws behind the shielding it took forever to get out I would definitely make sure to use a magnetic screwdriver when installing them

Memory

Great ram works very well and looks great

Storage

Fast as Lightning I only wish I had the money to buy the two terabyte

Video Card

Love it was able to get it to run at 2100mhz stable and at 1440p almost everything I throw at it runs at ultra settings above 100fps with anti-aliasing turned up to 8x

Case

I love the overall look of this case clean and beautiful. A few complaints 1. The thumb screws that hold the gpu in place are hard to get to 2. They could have included the four pin connector to connect the led on the case to the motherboard for the price

Case Fan

Quiet and efficient the control sucks but it works

Apparently you can get much cooler CPU temps if you bring the rad and fans to the front sucking in cool air. This makes little difference to the GPU temps too. There's a youtube video out there somewhere that has remarkable differences.

I have it pulling cool air in from the top instead of pushing out I was going for a positive air pressure set up so tons of fans pushing in and only one pushing out to help manage with dust

Hello sir nice build! i want to ask you a quesition if you dont mind :) Q:did you install windows on UEFI mode? like creating bootable uefi usb?

steventaylor702 submitter 1 Build 1 point 6 months ago

Yes I did

PockyJP 1 point 6 months ago

Thanks for response sir. And the 2nd last question is. Q:did you change your CSM settings in the bios? Or u leave it at lecacy only?

steventaylor702 submitter 1 Build 1 point 4 months ago

I didn't have to mess with it, it worked with out issue right out the door so I didn't bother to mess with any of the settings besides overclocking the Processor

Wi1dCard2210 1 Build 2 points 8 months ago

this is akin to the build I wanted originally, but due to my wallet crying in pain I was forced to take it a step down. Great build!

steventaylor702 submitter 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago

It was the same for me at first but I just said to hell with it and sis it

Lyrix 1 point 8 months ago

this build looks amazing! 1+! wow! it looks so good. i like the blue and with the 1080 you even can play on 4k! Its a great build! maybe add more pictures from different angles and maybe closeups of the gpu and cpu cooler! damn.

steventaylor702 submitter 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago

I'll see what I can do I still have a few things I want to add to it like rgb lighting strips and full system water cooling but that's down the road a bit

Ya I wanted everything to match and it has always been my favorite color. I can wait till I cant get my hands on 64gb of the gskills trident z rgb

logcat 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago

Did you do something to get that silver edge on the tempered glass, or is that a trick of the light?

Either way, it looks freaking fantastic. That's a really nice build, dude. I think a nice set of custom sleeved cables would add to the blue/black scheme you have going on.

steventaylor702 submitter 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago

It's a trick of light. And custom cables and full blown water cooling are in this pc's future

Kiaeneto 1 point 7 months ago

Why not mount the AIO on the front as intake and put the three 120mm fans on top?

steventaylor702 submitter 1 Build 1 point 6 months ago

I want maximum air intake for positive pressure helps keep dust at bay and also once I have the funds I will more than likely be adding 2 360mm radiators and doing a custom water cooling loop.

Ryzen

uberlizard 1 Build 3 points 8 months ago

stop. the 7700k is still a fine processor.

steventaylor702 submitter 1 Build 1 point 8 months ago

Ryzen is a great processor but at the time is a little buggy and also doesn't perform as well gaming as a Kaby Lake processor give it some time I'm sure it'll one of the best processors on the market. The other reason why didn't you on it was because they don't have any motherboards I like yet

XTOP 2 points 8 months ago

I7 7700k has a good OC speed and I have to agree, the market for Ryzen such as Motherboards aren't stable atm but you got to admit they took things to a whole new level with 8 cores and 16 threads for the 1700
