Description

Our marketing team needed to display a video that was almost 4:1 aspect ratio for a conference booth. It would be seven monitors mounted vertically on a horizontal plane.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

Will add more info after more testing, but initial tests are good though, stable with no hitching.

what kind of workload are you doing that demands 16gb of ram and a ryzen5 3600? It looks like a nice build im just curious why you needed more system memory and cpu horsepower and then basically using a display adatper

Honestly, if we are spending over 600 dollars on a graphics card I wanted to make sure it was more than just a one trick pony.

It was initially pitched that he would build a flash game, but that ended up getting cut.

I want this rig to be able to run any idea he can throw at it.

that makes sense. Something to remember is that it is a business build too so using a quadro makes sense (good luck finding a consumer card with 6 of the same output lol). Im assuming the most important part about this build is that it supports the display that you have. Im sure it will do what you need it to do and it will be reliable

Damn. Just Damn, man. First, seven vertical monitors side by side never looked so good. Second, I did not know that Nvidia actually had and 800 series. Third, very clean. I love it!

Thanks man. Yeah, it's a pretty rad. I could only find only a couple of videos on YouTube that were 4:1 aspect ratio for testing. 21:9 gets cuts off about two screens on each side.

Amazing. Imagine gaming on that

Yeah, we are trying to come up with some games to play in the after hours, but the aspect ratio presents a challenge. 21:9 is more common, but it's not even close to our aspect ratio.

Yep, that would be somewhat of a challenge. What TVs are you using?

It's seven 65 inch Samsung 4k TVs. I don't remember the model number.

There must be some way to arrange them in a curve . . . What's the total resolution being drawn there?

The resolution is 7560x1920.
