I built a budget system which can be used for both playing games as well as running Virtual Machines on the System. Hence i choose the i5 8400 with 6C6T. GTX 1050 serves my gaming purpose. I added 32 GB RAM so that i can run VMs on the system smoothly.
Awesome performance. With 6 Cores and 6 Threads , this is really fast. With a max turbo speed of 4 GHz i can do any intense task i want to. This is giving me a benchmark of 96 percentile. These are initial days, hope it keeps up.
I am actually using a H45 , since it was not in the list i had to select the nearest. H45 is very similar to the H60 in terms of cooling. I am not using a K or X Version of the CPU but while running multiple VMs together my temperature was touching 80 many times. The cooler did wonder and now i did not cross 60 Centigrade any time. In idle condition i am getting 30-35 CPU and 28 Motherboard which is a drop of almost 10 degrees. Let see how it goes after few months of use.
Decent and reliable motherboard. But feels tad costly. Comes with only 4 USB PORTS which is a drawback . Rest everything seems good. Prime Z370 A seems to be a better option. However for i5 8400 it is not worthy to go for any more costly stuff as it is not going to overclock. This seems to be the best budget and reliable option. The RAM Slots are sturdy and the orange single color LED does not seems too bright.
Awesome RAM. Giving me more than 100 percentile benchmarks all the time. Perhaps the best RAM in the market. With RAM prices hitting the roof seems costly but worthy of going for it.
Well this is not as good as expected. Compared to Crutial the performance is below par. The build also seems bit flimsy. But yes better than a HDD.
Well the Hyper X gives me a decent performance. Out of the 3 SSDs i have selected this one comes in the middle.
I am using this as my boot drive and getting stunning performance. The read and write speeds are pretty good
Well i wanted a simple yet elegant Mid Tower. K380 does the job. Cool looks and the red LEDs are not quite mild to my liking. The front looks good. The built quality looks premium. Only one LED Fan included in the front but thats enough for me as i have added a liquid cooler for radiation and one bottom fan to keep the cabinet cool.
This seems enough for my budget PC. For GTX 1050 and 32 GB RAM it is enough. The brand gives the comfort and assurance.
