This Revamp is part of my first ever build which can be viewed here: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/9mnnTW
So even though I was over the moon with the first draft of The Joker Build, There were a few area's I wasn't happy about. Firstly I wanted to redo the PSU Shroud. On the Original, The Purple Joker face was half covered when I put on the Side panel. An oversight in sizing by me. Also I wasn't happy with the cuts that I made to accommodate the the wires from the motherboard. So that got redone!
Secondly I wanted to see how far I could take the modding. The Corsair 750D is a big case (Bigger than I needed really) and left a huge empty gap on the right side of the pc so i wanted to find a way that I could cover it whilst keeping with the theme.
Thirdly the front of the 750D looked plain and I really wanted this pc to stand out from the crowd. The Joker theme is quite common and I wanted to set apart my build from the rest. This led me to the concept of building a cell (Arkham Asylum themed) where the CD ROM drives originally were and have a custom ON button. I also wanted to mod the front panel and have that stand out a little more.
Im really happy with the outcome! came out I had imagined, Of course there are area's that could have been done better with Hindsight but these are lessons I wouldn't have learned unless I made the mistakes in the first place.
The last thing I need to replace - is the plastic window on the side panel. No matter how much I cleaned and polished it's picked up a few scratches and gone slightly misty (which i guess is just wear and tear) The annoying thing about it, is it makes the PC looked a little dirty in the pictures!
Let me know what you think, If you prefer the old build or the new one!
