This build is a full year and a half in the works, being put together in stages when I could get the parts. I included all peripherals and necessities in the price as I wanted to track every penny involved. Being my first build, I couldn't be happier with it turned out and how it's really gotten me into the hobby of PC building.

Part Reviews

Very happy with it. Clocked at 4.5Ghz, and temps are good. Performs exactly how I expected it to.

CPU Cooler

I have no qualms at all about this cooler, my temps are great for an overclocked i5.

Great motherboard for a first time build. Clearances work for my setup, BIOS UI is good, easy to overclock following some guides online. Lastly the onboard wi-fi is great for a motherboard at the price I got this at (~2 years ago). Very happy I chose it.

Video Card

Got this card used in Sept. 2017 and it has been nothing but great. It overclocks well at 2037 MHz and temps are good. Great 1080 card.

Great case for my first build I think, lots of room too work around in. Also the manual says you can either put 2x front fans and an ODD, OR 3x front fans and no ODD. However I was able to fit my 3 front fans and an ODD blu-ray in with no problem.

Power Supply

Overkill but it feels to good to have a solid PSU, and who doesn't love head room?

Case Fan

Best fans you can get imo if you're going for a black & white build.

Pricey but that's really the only drawback bringing it down to 4 stars. GSYNC is great, once you get the right color profile the IPS difference really comes through I think. Gaming at 165 Hz is butter.

Like the monitor and lot and will have it for a very long time.

I’m planning on building a black and white build with the same case as yours. I have a few questions: 1) Are your case fans static pressure and is it quiet? 2) Was the installation process for your AIO sleeve simple and quick?
