NOTE: This is my fifth ever pc build, and I am in no means or way at all good at cable management or overall building. I've also been working with a tight budget while building this, and am looking to upgrade certain aspects of this rig over time. Used mainly for gaming, although I do use it for light Photoshop and video editing work occasionally. Ordering custom white sleeved cables soon and a white msi logo gpu backplate
AMD Ryzen 3 1200: Was the cheapest way to get into the new and promising AM4 Socket and a great budget performer running @ 3.9 ghz @ 1.425 volts; looking to pick up a R5 1400 or maybe R5 1600 if budget allows soon.
Deepcool CAPTAIN 240EX WHITE Cpu AIO Liquid Cooler: Wanted to try out an AIO in this build, and wanted something white to tie into my black and white theme. Great performer for the price I got it at(79.99) it keeps my r3 1200 @ 3.9ghz at 41 c under a full gaming load, should do great on the R5 1400/1600 I will be picking up soon. Easy to install and the fans it comes with are quite quiet.
MSI B350M Mortar Arctic mAtx: Voted the best looking B350 motherboard by many tech websites and channels for a reason, absolutely love this motherboard, although the BIOS could use some work you get what you pay for(69.99), also went with mAtx form factor for the flexibility, (as I have a mAtx case I transfer the build into when going to LANS and such events that require traveling,)
Kingston Savage 8GB DDR4- 2666: Cheapest ram I could find that was black and above 2400 mhz, as ryzen likes higher memory speeds, looking to pick up another stick for 16gb when these crazy ram prices drop.
ADATA SU800 128GB M.2 Drive: Cheapest m.2 ssd I could find, fast for a boot drive works great no complaints.
WD Caviar Blue 1TB: Just a standard 7200 rpm HDD for mass storage.
EVGA GTX 970 SSC+ ACX: Picked up used for $100 couldn't be happier, looking for a 1080/1070ti when inflation drops, but for now this will do just fine @ 1080p.
Phanteks Eclipse P400s Tempered Glass: WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THIS CASE??!! Beautiful, the main piece of this build, every part was choose around this case to conform to its color scheme. Easy to build in, great cable management, great dust filters, only area that could use improvements would be air flow, but with this modern style and chassis design, a lack of or complete absence of front air flow is only expected.
EVGA SuperNova NEX 650Watt Gold Fully Modular: Was purchased for my last build great pus BUT, the fan is way too loud seems to me like it's running at 100% 24/7 under any load and it can be a bit aggravating. Definitely the loudest competent in my build, looking to buy a corsair PSU soon.
TP-Link Wifi Card: Wanted a not half-bad wifi solution, seeing as my motherboard doesn't have wifi included. Works pretty good great for the price.
MSI Optix G24C 1080p 144hz Monitor: AMAZING, my prior monitor was from 2005, 1280x1024 60hz, so this is a big step up and i couldnt be happier. AMD Freesync comes on the monitor, and was originally looking for a Vega 56, but the prices have been astronomical.
Patriot Viper V760 Keyboard: First "Gaming" RGB Mechanical keyboard, software is lacking for the lighting but personally I love the Khail switches over cherry switches.
SteelSeries Rival 100: Great mouse awesome sensor 10/10 would buy again plus it's RGB :)
Logitech G430: Good headset was cheap, can't complain.
