CPU: We chose the I5 7600k mainly because there was no real need for an I7 7700k, and we also opted to get more aesthetically pleasing stuff so yeah it would've been possible to get an i7 but we would've dropped like the Corsair fans that we went with since we were already pushing his budget.
Cooler: It was white and it looks nice and performs well for it's price.
Mobo: We went with the Z270E Motherboard because of its feature for WiFi, like I said, Aesthetic was a part of the budget so of course in our opinion, it just looks a lot nicer than some of the budget boards
Memory: RAM prices are ridiculous but we went with the White LED
Storage: HDD for space and SSD for bootups and important apps
GPU: We went with the 1060 6gb to fit the usage for just a standard 1080p.
Case: Its white, looks nice, and came with an LED Strip so can't go wrong with that for its price and it was an easy experience to work with so 10/10
Power supply: 650W is more than enough
Overall, this was just a build for mainly gaming and surfing the web and it certainly does it's job. He definitely has room for upgrades in the future so looking forward to that. This was easily one of my favorite builds to work with so far and honestly started to love phanteks a lot more. Keep in mind we did buy a couple of these from Microcenter so the price of the total setup is not accurate. Thank you!
