Description

So, this a much more modern (and pricier) boredom build than the other two I completed early last year (2018). This is a mix of parts I already had, some purchased new, some picked up on Ebay, and one through a trade. It was sold within days of completing it (again, early 2018).

The Core i3-8100 was a decent pairing with the GTX 1060 3GB/1152 "CUDA Core." The i3-8100 is a terrible value at the price it's selling at now with the AMD Ryzen 3 2200G or even Ryzen 3 1200 both selling for less than $100. I also would never purchase (for my own use) the cut down, lesser GTX 1060 with it's anemic (by today's standards) 3GB of VRAM. Still, this hardware combination made for a really decent gaming machine. The guy who bought it from me was looking for something to do VR with, but really didn't want to spend much money. I hope it worked out for him.

Anyway, if I think of something else to say, I guess I'll add it later.

For the price, very nice. Except for that 2TB drive, that seems way overpriced.

+1 of course
