Description

I use this PC for light gaming and editing use. It works perfectly but I will be upgrading the graphics card and cooling very soon

Part Reviews

CPU

Way more than I needed, but absolutely amazing

Motherboard

Very basic but still has overclocking opportunities.

Memory

Haven't had a problem from it. Also got it for a great price!

Storage

Super fast and looks good. Glossy blue sticker has a great aesthetic

Storage

Super low price for 3TB, but still does the job. Can make a little noise under load.

Video Card

Wish I would have gone with a 4GB version but this one handles whatever I throw at it. Plays basic and/or old games at 60fps no problem. I haven't seen anything less than 60 since I got it!

Case

Not the best cable management, but it is at a very good price. Power supply mount is in the top of the case, but has a fair amount of room cables in the back panel......just no good ways to route them

Power Supply

One of my favorite non-modular power supplies. I recommend spending another $10 for the semi-modular one though

Wireless Network Adapter

Does work with windows 10, but gets hot to the touch

Monitor

Found this for an amazing price and has been amazing ever since.

Keyboard

Slightly squishy keys but the colors, price, and gaming experience are great!

Nice to still see FX posts. Everything you need is right. The rest is fluff! Unless you run into a situation (gaming) that video card should be fine for light gaming needs. However its never fun to turn down the eye candy because VRAM is low. RX 580, Vega?

I was thinking moving to the RX 580. FX still seems super solid for a great price. By far the best PC I've ever owned. Never been able to watch 1080p video at 60 fps with my previous PC's RIGHT after I bought the RX 460 the RX 560 launched for the same price but twice the ram.

When I upgrade this one, I will probably build an ITX PC for this this graphics card to live.

I wouldn't say great performance, ryzen 3 cpu is coming out and its gonna be 129.99 and you can pick up a mobo about the same price as the one you got.

I started buying parts before ryzen was announced. I would have loved building a ryzen 3 system with an rx 560/570

Ahh ok

Plus Ryzen 3 won't have 8 cores. Going a little ways into the past is fine by me for the performance

ayyy man, nice build ya got there. Debating that keyboard for a budget build, how's it holding up? Other than some "slightly squishy keys", any complaints? Thanks!

No I like it. It has held up great! It has almost no feedback but the the lights ar vibrant and the mouse that comes with it is perfect and fits in my hand great
