Description

This PCis great for 1080p gaming. As long as you keep the graphics medium to high (not ultra) you should be able to maintain 60fps+ in most games. Internet exploring and YouTube handle like a breezeThe only problem I have had is the hard drives download speed is very inconsistent (not internet speed related) so upgrading to an ssd would greatly improve the experience.

The lighting from both the red LED fans and the Asus motherboard give great visuals, and the red really creates a very gamery atmosphere.

The back of the tesseract case provides plenty of room for cable management. My only problem with the case is the graphics card slots are not remountable, so before you take them out be sure your graphics card is in the right slot. :(. Their are are good with the case, but you might want to add another fan if your are going to to more than minor over locking.

The Adata Ram until configured in the bios will run at 1600mhz so that you will probably want want to change that to 1866mhz so you can get as much bang for buck.

Altogether I am quite proud of this build and how well I did for my First pc, but wish I had waited for ryzen.

Nice build :)

Though, tbh, i would have waited for ryzen 3 (paired with a b350 mobo), which launches on the 27th.

Otherwise great build :D Enjoy it :)

Ryzen 3 userbenchmarks fall behind the 8350, I would rather get a Ryzen 5 1600

Would have waited for Ryzen 3, it's coming up real soon. Otherwise, that's a cool build. Hope you can save up for a new motherboard and chip, I would love to see this ryze up to ryzen ;)

Ya, I bought the cpu and motherboard before ryzen was announced, and plan on at lest for now getting a water cooler for some serious overclocking.

To update the BIOS (for the motherboard), will I need to get another CPU to update them before getting the Vishera?

No, you won’t need another cpu the 970 series work just fine with the 8350 cpus out of the box.

I love the name XD. It wouldve been nice if you got an am4 board for ryzen, it wouldve meant that you'd be getting new releases for 4 years, whereas am3 has no more updates. That said the fx8350 is still a good chip for £100. Also I do really like EVGA cards :)
