Description

Build was complete as of a few months ago. Just now posting. Thanks to jmmods for the backplate and gpu support bracket. Liquid cooling was in the budget but I changed my mind. Those are the five basic lands in Magic The Gathering that you see in the background, art by John Avon.

The hardest part of this build was choosing speakers. I wanted a good upgrade from my old $15 set of logitechs in my previous build. First go around I got some Rockville studio speakers but they had issues right out of the box so I shipped them back and went with my second choice which was the klipsch promedia 2.1. Secondly my last build was strongly black and a little white. This time around I wanted to have a good mix of black and white to really give a good contrast.

This was also my first AMD build but I heard Ryzen was all the rage so I bought into it, and so far its been really great. I only play WoW and occasionally Counter Strike Source so yes the frame rate is already overkill for those games.

Feel free to comment if you have any questions or interested in anything.

Thanks!

May I ask how loud those fans are, look great but want to know whether they sound like a jet or my sex life.

Haha I had this concern as they were being shipped. Especially coming from a fractal r5 basically sound proof case. Honestly these fans run quiet only if I stick my ear against the window can I hear anything.

Thanks. Nobody likes wires. Used a wire rack from ikea to hide everything under the table.

Love the color scheme! I am planning on building with a similar color scheme, but I'm on a pretty tight budget. Maybe you got some lower-priced components such as keyboards and cases that you were thinking of going with?

Off topic, but where did you get those prints on the wall?

They are John Avon Lithographs, he's my favorite magic the gathering cart artist.

I'm currently building an H700 white/black w/ Kraken x62 build. I really like the look of these white fans better than the NZXT fans. Can you turn the fan's LEDs off (watching a movie or going to bed etc.)?

Yes, its all controllable I just personally leave them all on.

Where did you get the backplate? I checked the website and do I have to click the custom or is there any way I can get a copy of what you got?
