~blinks~.... assume you went x99 because of some sorta deal on that cpu? leaving the question of why a $450 MB for movies and games?? why a WD red if not using raid? 1050w psu?? what is a 750ti doing in a $3k build? is it a placeholder??? descriptions are your friend. neat case though, haven't seen it before

Edit: ~blinks some more~ wait.. $800 explains why i havent seen that case before.

Edit again: umm did you build this yourself? this parts list looks quite a bit like the build options on the steiger dynamics site (except for the 750ti..). Also, just as a heads up, the ram is in the wrong slots.

Thanks for your comments.

I got a good deal on 5820k which can only be fit into a X99 mobo . just trying to build the system which is future proof. Same goes for storage keeping in mind the future RAID config.

Yes I built the system by myself. I had a unused 750 TI which I thought I could use it for this build until I have enough money to buy more powerful GPU.

System detects all the RAMs and with correct sizes. Can you elaborate how you figured out that the RAM was placed in wrong slots?

Thank you

The motherboard might detect the correct sizes and speeds but according to most manufacturer's documetation the RAM should be placed in the proper color coordinated slots to be setup for dual channel.

Thanks for the link. It looks like I inserted the RAM into the wrong slots. I will fix this.

is the LCD a touch screen?

this is one expensive AV receiver

It's not a touch screen. However it does not have to be a touch screen since we always operate these systems from a distance. IR Remote is more practical on these systems and the case does come with that.

Check out the following link:

I am able to maintain a constant temperatures of around 75 F during the game play. Thanks to liquid cooling, the system is super quiet even during heavy gaming.

Love the case and everything else.

Please take that off the rug, static electricity, getting kicked, vacuum cleaner hitting it and dust :(

I never put any system of mine on the floor, they suck in dust too much.

But other than that love the system :-)
