Description

Built this computer as an upgrade from my old laptop that had a phenom, 3 core processor and to play games in 1440p and some video editing on the side.

Didn't want a slow processor so I chose the i7 6700K@4.7,1.375V and 32GB of ram for 'future proofing' SSD for the OS and my favorite games HDD's for mass storage and backup GTX 1070 for solid 1440p gaming experience

The case has decent water-cooling support but can get cramped pretty easily but has enough room for what I need.

Originally bought an H100i V2 but decided to custom since it topped out at 100C and throttles at 4.7Ghz and it looked awkward mounted on the top of the case. I know I could've made a better computer with this amount of money, but it met my needs

Part Reviews

CPU

Beats my 3 core phenom anyday, got a hefty OC out of it 4.7GHz at 1.375V, really satisfied though temps are in 70-85C under load.

Motherboard

Love it and hate it, you cant downgrade BIOS once updated, BIOS crashes sometimes when in fan configurator(after BIOS update), Do not use with Asus Ai Charger it will cause random BSOD's(also after update), would not recommend BIOS update unless you have a Kabylake processor. Good at overclocking got my i7 6700k @4.7GHz at 1.375V BIOS version 2002 is what I found to be the most stable with Skylake.

Memory

Good memory haven't got any problems

Video Card

Great card has good OC potential but is limited to 112 power limit instead of 120 from its factory OC counterpart.

Case

Good case, a bit cramped when water cooling

Monitor

Had 1-2 dead pixels on both of my monitors but its too dense to notice

Beautiful build, keyboard kind of looks weird however, but I love everything about this build. The Pop Vinyl looks nice, the custom loop looks really good with the clear liquid, and there's just the right amount of RGB that makes it good looking. but still stands out.

typical pop vinyls in the case.... Did anybody ever say 'Hey, maybe I shouldn't be a generic and basic by following literally something everybody else does... Maybe I shouldn't put ugly pop vinyls in my computer'

Nice build, you should have bought an RGB keyboard though. Also +1 for the Pop figures.
