Description

My second build this year and I was so pumped to do another one. I went with some different parts this time around to give myself a slightly different challenge and to be honest with you. It was easier. I will ALWAYS go liquid cooling from here on out. I haven't decided yet if the AMD Ryzen was the way to go but I wanted something different than Intel, and I figured why the hell now. I will have to use Windows 10 so I'll have a chance to start getting used to that OS as I have been on Windows 7 forever. It's just a clean simple OS so I've stuck with it. I love this case and will honestly get nothing else other than NZXT from here on out. I highly recommend them as they have thought of just about everything when it comes to a case. I went with a M.2 SSD this time as well for the sheer fact that I wanted something faster and I feel that a HDD that is built into the motherboard is the best way to go. I wish I had known before. I did take the 1080ti and put it in my other completed build "My One and Only" and put a Gigabyte 1070 in this one but other than that I have it the same as the parts list. I am writing this now and I haven't loaded Windows 10 on it yet. I will in the morning. I hope Ryzen was the way to go. I shall see and I shall like it regardless, cause, well, I bought it lol If you were as undecided as I was on wither or not to go Intel or AMD message me and I'll tell you what I think of this CPU and the comparison that I have seen.

Happy Building

Super nice build. I have a somewhat similar build (same cpu, different MSI x370 mb). Got it super stable 3.9Ghz with 1.32V and LLC2. Please let me know if and how you can get 4.0 and stable for an hour+ of prime95

what are the boot times?

i'd have to say between 5 -7 seconds. I have very minimal software that boots and with the OS installed on the M.2 it flies. That is an estimate of my own by counting and have not officially checked it

How are you liking the Ryzen? I have always used Intel. I'm trying to create a budget friendly 4k build and I'm on the fence with the R7.. your thoughts?
