Description

Just my personal build i have been slowly working on, Started as a 7700k with a 960 and hyper 212 evo in an s340 case. Eventually some time this year i will do a custom loop and gpu upgrade so i decided to get the define r6.

Have done some slight mods to this case in the meantime just to make it my own.

-made an acrylic cover for the right side so i could mount my ssd's to it without ruining the original plate

-made the gpu backplate out of 2 pieces of acrylic to allow it to sit closer to the pcb since the mount for the g10 sits pretty high above that and looks ugly.

-Wrapped ssd's with 3m matte white vinyl

  • Painted corsair h100iv2 block and radiator white

-3m vinyl carbon fiber wrapped acrylic panel and brushed panel on front of case

Impressive skin you've put on the Define R6! Looking forward to your custom loop.

If I were you, tons of fittings and glass tubing sounds about right.

Thanks, will probably be doing Petg tubing hopefully with minimal fittings and just bending the tubing, but the glass with a bunch actually sounds interesting, may have to consider it now.

How is that front panel set up? Is the hd cage forward and you just taped it or is it back and mounted another way? Also, did you mount the SSDs on it with tape? That part just intrigued me! Sweet build and mods.

Ya i had ordered a delid kit at the same time as the cpu, it was baking even at stock voltage and clock. Delided and replaced with liquid ultra and she stays nice and cool now, but can't get it past 5ghz without a rather large jump in voltage.

Wow I must have gotten lucky. I can run my 7700k at 5GHz without delidding it with the h110i v2.
