Runs GTA V in 4k with high settings, which is what I hoped to achieve.
In case you are wondering, I like bunny rabbits so I put some on my case:D
Build name: "Wasscally Wabbit" .Great build!
Thank you very much! I appreciate the validation considering the time, money, and heartache I put into getting this right.
Awesome build. Rabbits make a good addition as well.
Thank you! Yes rabbits are my favorite:)
1) Why so much Memory for gaming you really don't need much. And that much is very much overkill.
2) Why no HDD for cheap memory?
3) Why a "4K" monitor? The swift or Acer equivalent would run GTA V better at 1440p + G-SYNC. A huge upgrade over 60Hz (144Hz). Just seems with as much as you spent your monitor bottlenecks the entire build. Beck with that much power you could drop tripple monitors!
Hey thanks for your comment. I don't need more space for HDD. I guess I don't have very many files to store. If I did ever need more I'd get another SSD though and not the hard drive. I like removing the hard drive cage - I think it's a lot roomier in my case as a result. The ram I dunno I just wanted to fill all the slots on my motherboard and it wasn't that expensive. Hoping this will last me years without needing any upgrades. I also wanted 4k. I saw videos that show 4k game play and that sort of spurred me on to get it for myself. I think the monitor I have gives a good picture.
Hey no problem, everybody likes sharing their opinions lol! Honestly though you should at least take a look at a 1440p with G-SYNC, it will change your life
Nice build...I just happened to look at what other builds have the 5930k and yours caught my eye. Like the decal and color scheme. Did you have a budget for your build or are you like me and it just keeps creeping up?
Green with envy..2x 980Ti's
Play any other games than GTA 5?
There's actually a cover for the PSU that'll hide most of it
