Description

This is my 4th build. I sold my previous build. I've been using my mac for school, but I missed playing games, so here it is - cheap CS:GO rig:) I had some leftover parts like Noctua cooler and an SSD. All prices are with rebates which I will be receiving soon.

how is gpu? will it handle most games at 1080p high-ultra with 70-80fps? also, that cooler is amazing, +1

Well, its ok for my needs. If you are planning to game on hight-ultra settings, you might want to get gtx 960. They are pretty close in price. Sometimes you can find 960 under $150. Also you can wait, there might be gtx 1050, which should outperform 960

my needs are going to be 1080p gaming on medium to high. Also I found that same gtx 950 on Amazon Canada for $150, do you think its worth it?

it depends on games you want to play. Most of the modern games will not run well on gtx 950. Personally I would add an extra $20-30 and get gtx 960 ($170). Or the best waY IS TO FIND RX480 UNDER $200. I dont know what your budget is, and what set up are you trying to build. If its a brand new build, i can make a part list for you if you like

most gtx 960's on amazon cost around $250-$300, and plus I will only be playing Minecraft, CS:GO, and maybe some other fps games. it is a brand new build, and my budget is around $700-$800 cad including a 1080p monitor and windows 10. this is my current build:

Well I dont know prices in Canada. Overall seems good for low end gmaes like CS:GO, Dota, Starcraft and LOL. However, if you plan on playing GTA V, B4 you might not get what you want (1080p, high-utra, 70-80fps)

For the AAA titles, you might want to get at least an i3-6100 and gtx 960. IMO I think thas a sweet spot for 1080p gaming

Also check out youtube videos. There are many people benchmarking games with different hardware. Your build might be good enough for you

Thank you:) There is no way I can close the panel. Noctua cooler is way too wide. However, it looks better this way:)

Think you could cut the side panel so that just the border is there? Would be really nice with a clean border instead of the slots, otherwise super clean build!

I thought about it, but I dont want to ruin the case. I know I will end up selling it at some point!

you could try taping them up with some matte black tape. I tried that on my black case and it turned out pretty well.

I will try to do that in the near future. Also I want to add couple of stickers from CS:GO
