Description

I built this machine for light content creation and to play some games mostly e-sport games, my old PC was like 8 years old and a prebuilt PC from BestBuy it didn't have a graphics card, so I built this in hopes I could start to make some youtube videos and maybe stream. Currently overclocked it to 4.2GHZ haven't overclocked the GPU but I plan too in the future I know most people I talked to said I should buy either a GTX 1070 or at least an 8GB version of the RX 480 but for the games I play I didn't think it would be needed I can always upgrade in the future anyways. building the PC was a bit tough for me I had trouble putting the CPU cooler in but other than that it was pretty easy I would say.

PS sorry for bad grammar I have always had bad grammar, also sorry for the picture quality took them with my phone while my phone is about to die and I didn't feel like opening the case my cable management is not the best needs work.

without the headset, blue snowball and keyboard & mouse the build was a little less than $900 and I am happy with that since my goal was to keep it under $1,000 with that added stuff its about $10 over $1,000 so yeah seems worth it is my first build so in the future I may make changes or build a new PC.

Part Reviews

CPU

Runs well enough as expected kinda wish I went with a i7 though so I could have a better time streaming and making videos but for light creation, it works fine.

CPU Cooler

Great fan I have hardly ever heard it run and it keeps things relatively cool.

Motherboard

Nothing to complain about nothing to say its great about either.

Memory

does its job and I have had no problems with it.

Storage

Decent for the price I paid for kinda wish I got 850 Evo instead but no complaints.

Storage

Large size and does what I want, stores games and video.

Video Card

The Card is a bit louder than I thought it would be under heavy load but it runs smooth and well for the price it seems pretty good.

Case

Fine case nothing amazing but it looks pleasing and it came with 2 case fans already installed so that's a plus.

Power Supply

Powers all the things it needs to in my case.

Operating System

Pretty much needed now got it for a decent price.

Keyboard

For the price this keyboard and mouse work pretty well I would say on a budget I would pick this up again but if I had more money I would pick something better up.

Headphones

Decent headset my old one broke so I picked this up the sound quality is fine nothing amazing but not bad for $40 would recommend if you want a cheap comfortable headset.

Custom

Picks my voice up loud and clear worth the $40 I paid for it.

Custom

Works well and you can turn each of the USB plugins on or off and I needed more USB plugins.

Very cool build! I actually recently finished a builed with this case, a different 580, and a FX6300 for a client. I like the case but that side panel is awful lol
