Description

This is the current form of my Gaming RIG. I use it for modding and playing video games in my living room. This is connected to a 55" 4K HDR TV at 60Mhz to game from my couch with a Xbox One controller.

This PC has grown from a previous system when my needs outgrew my hardware and the better parts from the old system migrated into this one. The latest upgrades include a Intel Optane Drive, HTC Vive, Stream Deck and Dual Sticks for Space Sims.

If anyone has suggestions to improve my build or mod order I would love to hear them.

Part Reviews

Storage

Work great as advertised. Everyone needs a SSD in their PC.

Power Supply

Fast, quiet and powerful. I recommend it.

Operating System

It's Windows. You need it to play Windows games.

External Storage

Big and slow. I get about 35 mbs in real usage speed out of it. I intend to open it up and move the drive internally.

Custom

Does it's job but it is real and wide. Blocks USB port next to it or above it depending where I install it. Wish it was more reasonably sized.

I'm honestly more concerned about your mod list count than your pc. I recently upgraded from a 780 3gb so I could mod Skyrim better, so I'm clearly ecstatic about another modder on this site.

Clean system, after the i7 you'll be very well rounded, only thing I would focus on is aesthetics.

I'm going for a black and red theme with a little bit of a white accent. I'd love to here about your thoughts on modding and what you using for primary/interesting mods.

Me being a fallout fan I immediately had to look. Check my builds I have 2 fallout builds on my list ;)

GOOD build, 4K UHD are pretty cheap now a days. Look around and could get a 55" 4k TV around $400-$500!! You'll love fallout in 4k!!
