Description

Strictly for gaming only :D because they're fun. That's all.

Part choices: Cpu: i5 6600k, it's for gaming, don't really require the hyper threading that the i7 offers. (Disregard the i7 shown in the pictures it's just temporary)

Cpu cooler: Noctua NH-D9L, it's beautiful, a dual tower, currently has the i7 at 4.5 ghz (haven't really stressed it since it is only temporary but assuming it'll handle the i5 as well)

Motherboard: msi black pcb pretty, ugly red leds, with the white leds in the case you don't even see them at all so I'm fine with it, no option in the bios to turn them off. Don't need all the features that an rog board had.

Ram: .... so two sticks are doa waiting for rma from newegg. Most upsetting thing, literally tested different ram sticks and everything else worked fine but these two sticks. We'll have to see what they say.

Ssd: Samsung 850 evo. 250gb holds my main games I play atm, overwatch, csgo, shellshock live, need for speed, rocket league, battlefield.

Hdd: WD Black 2.5 5400rpm data and other junk benchmarking utilities and such

Power supply: overkill by far, I was going to use a 550w rmx but it was the same price as the 750w so why not

Case: cute cube

Video card: MSI Gtx 1070 Aero OC matched aesthetically love the blower design coolers and opted for this one, didn't care too much for the founders cards with their disgusting angled appearance.

Nice Build! Is there a reason that you didnt get sleeved cables? It doesnt look like you really have a budget.

I think you ought to get some sleeved cables. Other than that, this is a great build. I approve.

I love the Aero card and I think it really does work with your build well. I noticed you're not overclocking, but with a cooler like yours, I'd go for it. Also, in the land of overclock, you could get an H60 (liquid) for only about $5 more. Excellent cable management as well, I do appreciate that. Also, btw, you didn't put your hard drive in your parts list, and why are you going to use the i5 if you've got the i7 already in there? Still, really well done.

it is going to be overclocked once I get the cables as well as the i5, that i7 is from my other build and is in here temporarily until I get the 6600k in. the aero cards are amazing and im waiting for a custom backplate that is an all black brushed aluminum look like the front of the node 804.

ok, that makes sense. That backplate will look sick, I can't wait to see it!

How loud is the the Aero blower 1070? Considering getting one but the noise levels are really important to me.
