I wanted a build that could game and do light video editing on since I was using a MacBook. I also wanted a PC that could go on my desk, but my desk was small, meaning I needed a smaller case. I already had monitors and peripherals, all I needed was the PC. I went with a 9700k instead of an 8700k because i just wanted something 9th Gen. I used a RTX 2070 instead of a cheap 1080 because Ray Tracing. I did not care about RGB too much, so I went with a H200 instead of H200i. For storage, I already had a 1TB Hard Drive lying around, so I wiped it and put in in with the 1TB NVMe SSD from Crucial. I did not realize that the H200 could fit a 240 Rad, so i accidentally got a 120ml M22. This ended up being fine though, as my temps did not get over 85 degrees at 5.1 GHz somehow. I will never understand how. Later on I plan to sell the M22 and get a EK Fluid Gaming Kit.
UPDATE: It gets pretty hot in the summer at my house so i am getting a H400i before it costs more. Im getting the H400i because itll give me more room for my gpu fans and im also gonna get a 240ml aio, though im not sure which one.
A very fast CPU, although it is kind of overpriced compared to the 8700k
A very good cooler, somehow managing to keep the cpu at 85 degrees at 5.1 GHz
Very good for its price, although it did not have enough fan/aio pump headers.
Reliable RAM, overclocked to 3600 MHz
Slower than other NVMe SSDs, but it works
A very fast card, great lighting, and somehow does not thermal throttle inside the H200 with not even a centimeter of space between the PSU shroud and the fans.
A great case with cable management.
At first I though this would be kind of loud, but in eco mode, it is dead silent, i cant hear a thing from it.
Its windows, it never deserves 5 stars
A great monitor that i overclocked to 75 hz
Not too good color, but great price for a 144Hz monitor. I does not work well with G-Sync, as expected.
My favorite mouse, it has very great battery life, even on 1 AA. It also does not lag.
Great noise cancelling, even with the feature off i cannot hear background noise, which i love.
This keyboard is a god send for me, because I used to use Apple Keyboards. I love the Red switches inside the keyboard, and it has pretty neat RGB lighting. The only problem is that the software that DREVO created for it doesn't even detect the keyboard plugged in or on bluetooth.
Your classic fan splitters, they're pretty normal.
