Description

I had been holding on to dear life to my Ivy bridge i7. After the 2nd generation Ryzen chips hit, I couldn't hold back. Both the Mobo and CPU Heatsink differ than what i listed. Couldn't locate Gammaxx 400 blue or MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon In PcPartpicker lists. The added LED strips are Deepcool brand, and they are individually addressable 5v Led strips that plug into the 3 pin Jrainbow header on my mobo.

Part Reviews

CPU

The AMD Ryzen 2600 is shredding through every application I've thrown at it. All thats really held me back with 3d Studio work is my ram. Will opt for 16 more gb of Trident Z when able.

CPU Cooler

It does what it needs to do, very quit and keeps cpu at around mid 20's on idle.

Motherboard

Motherboard: (MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC) I was gonna go ROG Strix, But the day i was about to order was also the day MSI dropped the B450 boards. Liked the features and its ability to overclock. Im very happy with the purchase.

Memory

Trident Z is boss. These 3200mhz modules have been clocked at 3466mhz and never skipped a beat.

Storage

Does what needs to be done sub par

Storage

Great Drive. Fast and efficient.

Video Card

At the time I got this card I was very broke. Friends all chipped in to help me get this card in order for me to continue doing graphic work as they know I love doing. The card is really great and games 1080p brilliantly, no complaints here other than render speeds on Iray or mental ray, thats where high end cards would really shine for me.

Case

This is an amazing case for what it costs. 60 bucks and its packed with features youd see in $120+ cases.

Power Supply

Does what needs to be done. Happy with the purchase

If I was to only point out a few things, the cooler doesn't match the aesthetic of the rest of the RGB themed build.

The Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi would match the rest of the RGB components very well.

And it could use some Corsair LL120s.

Nice build. Check out the Cryorig Ultra RGB. They showed it off at Computex and it'll be released in the US soon. It's by far the nicest looking air cooler available IMO.

Also, when funds permit, maybe some custom cables from CableMod? That white background inside your case is a blessing and a curse. I prefer more subtle designs, not to many colors/RGB, but custom cables with that white background I think would look pretty sick (black/white purple or green maybe). Good luck, and nicely done!

Hello! I'm trying to make my first ever build and I'm not the most knowledgeable of parts, so I hope you don't mind me asking.

How is the cooling of the case? Is there enough airflow so it doesn't overheat? I'm asking because I've checked out a few other cases but the reviews said that there wasn't much airflow so I'm just checking! Sorry if this is a stupid question...

E/ Oh! Also, how bright are the lights? They look like they change colour over time, so is there a way to keep it one colour?
