Description

This is a revamp of my original build that I did in February of this year. I never ended up posting this, but I wanted to get some feedback on what you all think!

My first build was an amazing experience and turned out great, but I went overboard on a few of the components and couldn't decide on what look I wanted to go for. It ended up being too bulky and didn't feel like me, so I decided to rethink my vision and this is what I came up with.

For all of you wondering...I used the EVGA GTX1060 FTW at first, but ended up getting an EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW3.

I'm very happy with the end result and finally feel satisfied with the build!

Looks amazing! Out of curiosity, what temperatures are you getting when it is under load?

Same question

Thank you!! Under full load, I've never seen it go over 62 degrees. Even when I overclocked to 5Ghz it's only went up to 68, 69. It's fantastic!

Hi. I'm completely new in pc build and have interest in your gaming build. Just want to know how the temp regulate in your chassis?

I'm sorry but I don't understand the question? You want to know what the temp range was in the actual case itself? Or the temps of cpu/GPU at idle and under load?

Thank you for replying ^ My question is answered by you since it's the same question of Caldeen ^. I really love this case but worrying about the temperature since it's been reviewed on the internet. Seeing your build with 68 69 under load is amazing. I think I will go for this Evolv mAtx :D

You can fit 6 fans in this thing lol. It has almost as good cooling as my old NZXT H440. It NEVER got hot in the Evolv, so many cooling options for a Tempered Glass case. That is the main reason I got it! XD

Not a problem!! Some advice for you, there is not much space behind the PSU for wires with the HDD cage. I recommend removing the HDD cage and using 2.5 drives, it makes cable management SOO MUCH easier.

Oh, btw may I ask how do you use all of the fans? Like what are their positions?

I ALWAYS use radiator as exhaust either on top or rear as heat rises. Intake from the front, and I know everyone has their own opinions on this...but I like to have either equal CFM airflow from intake and exhaust fans, or have slightly higher intake than exhaust.

Thank you very much!! It was quite a bit of trial and error to get it just right :P The gpu in the pic does have RGB Led's but it was actually temporary, I switched up to an EVA GTX 1080TI FTW3.

Thank you very much! I agree 100%...I love the RGB not for the rainbow effect, but to have the option of changing the color scheme to whatever I want whenever I want!

What are your impressions of the Firecuda drive? Do you think it's "worth it" for video/photo etc storage?

I use one in most of my builds as I find it's one of the most stable drives with a good amount of storage. I use it only as storage though. For games, video, audio, photo, ect. I live by using an SSD as your boot drive, but your secondary serves the purpose of keeping your bulk files accessable and safe which the firecuda does quite well. It has a decent read/write speed and loading times for games are minimal.
