Description

This is the Last version of the Athena before I moved on to 7700k builds. I love the base combo of cooler power supply and case. will use this case for all future builds. Love the rgb lights inside had to download the nvidia led software as that function has been removed from geforcce. it adds a great effect with my lights getting brighter as more load is putt on the card and the easy to install rgb strip i ordered was a breeze to put in all i need now is some case stickers.

PC master race for the win who needs an xbox or ps4 when ur vr ready gaming rig is this small.

It's funny that you should mention LEDs as a way to indicate system on: I just ordered some for the same reason. The difference for me is that I can hear both my CPU cooler and GPU when they're spinning :) However, I did want to spice up the experience. I have the non-windowed version of the RVZ02 but I figured that since I can see the mobo LED through the mesh, I should be to see a strip of LEDs and it may even help to diffuse the light to make it "glow" more. Folks like you inspired me to make this move. I swore to myself I would never buy unnecessary cosmetic upgrades but here I am.

On the other parts of your build, you have a staggering amount of storage for this case. I'm not even sure where you put the 5TB drive but color me impressed. I am super curious to see what you will do when you move over to the 7700k. My hat off to you, sir/ma'am.

The 3.5 drive sits behind my monitor stand. If you look at the bottom of the parts list I used a Best buy off the shelf 3.5 enclosure to turn my WD Black into an external drive. If i ever get a mini card i may put it back inside the case but its unlikely as this will be the last build on this generation of hardware the next build will be using 7th Gen and the RVZ03 with a titan thats coming out at the end of the with water cooling.

Oh, I got it now about the hard drive. Phew, I thought I was missing something about this case and I just wasted money/performance on a laptop drive.

This is my first time hearing about the RVZ03 and had to look it up. Having an RGB strip as the built-in lighting seems nice as opposed to the stock orange on the RVZ02 (I know some people mod it). My initial impression is that it seems like a larger Node 202 since it seems to have a similar layout and space for more fans. Seems like an interesting one to look out for later on.

Lol its actual just an upgrade of the RVZ01 the node was another that took after 01. The z01 was never intended to have water cooling but gamers found it very easy to water cool it if you managed cable right. The 03 will was designed with water cooling in mind after they saw whole web groups devoted sff case water cooling.

My fan noise tells me maybe I should have considered other options but I did like the way that people squeezed the cables into the little nooks and crannies of the 02. Given what I use my computer for, it'll be a bit of time before I need to upgrade, though I kind of tied my own hands with my blower-style graphics card.

The node 202 is a somehow more popular take on the RVZ01 the 01 and node are the same size the 03 is slightly smaller then the 01 but not by much. both the 01(refreash) and 03 can be water cooled

Sadly I ended up skipping a generation and went with the 8700k and chose stick with the RVZO2 Case the 03 is garbage an artist needs a canvas and sadly no one is supplying right now :(
