Description

"Puddin" is the culmination of some smaller builds that I used to figure out exactly what I wanted in a low price MITX gaming rig/Media Server.

I knew I wanted an AMD rig and my love of comic books needed to be represented somehow. The black and red theme instantly brought me to Harley Quinn, hence, puddin'.

Parts:

Athlon x4 880k - Best CPU I can get for an FM2+ MITX, happy as hell with the performance.

Corsair H55 - Quiet, cheap, looks good and keeps her cold. Ill take it.

GA-F2A88XN-WIFI - Good Board, great features, less then great BIOS but gets the job done.

PNY XLR8 Gaming SSD gives great read/right speeds and didnt break the bank. The 1TB WD drive is for backups and the 4TB is media storage.

Modded Corsair Dominator Platinum 16gb -Great Ram that got some TLC to match my theme. Custom paint job and Red inserts from Main Frame Customs.

ASUS ROG STRIX RX 480 8gb - I wanted the best RX 480, and I got it. Nothing but good things with this card, and I love the aesthetics.

Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV MITX - Absolutely love this case. Nice and clean, great look, awesome space and the cable management/fan controller/PSU shroud are all top notch for a MITX case. Easy to build in, great look, has everything I want. And the Radiator mounting system is one of the smartest things I've seen in a case this size.

I replaced the stock fans with Corsair red LED AF120mm fans, and then added 2 more. These are controlled by the Phanteks fan controller.

This machine runs Overwatch, DOOM and Street Fighter V like a dream. When not gaming it's a PLEX server/File Server/ Encoding Box. Couldn't be happier, the Price/Performance is amazing, it looks great and I can play whatever I want. Love it.

you can put the h55 in a push pull config. i got the h55 too. they should give you 8 long screws because there are 8 holes in the radiator too. i used 2 long screws in front fan and 2 in back fan. it looks like you could easily use one of your case fans with a y splitter for pwm. that ram is cool.
