I built my first PC as a 16 year old who has been saving up for a year and a half and I cant believe the day finally came that I have my own custom pc. I was previously using some BAD HP computer with an amd athlon on 2 MONITORS! Pretty sure you have an idea what my pain was like. Alot of my parts I bought using kijiji, alot of people were selling brand new SEALED items that were really worth it, saved nearly $400 just by buying products off of someone else. I originally wanted to do my build with an r9 290 but as I found someone selling a 290x that was 3 months old for $300 I decided to grab it as it was a steal for the price. I happened to get some extra money on hand so I decided to make my build aesthetically pleasing by purchasing some black/red sleeved cables. I love the way it looks now. I got the 1tb hdd from my old pc which is the only reason why I have a seagate drive. I know that it isnt a reliable drive.
Update: I have now owned the pc for about a month and its been great. I have overclocked both the cpu and gpu a little bit but havent overclocked completely as im going to be running push/pull on my radiator. Havent ran into any problems except for the fact that I cant connect my tv as a 4th display into my 290x. I used different ports and cables but the tv is being recognized but cant be used as a display, anyone know why? SOLVED : Thanks for the help, found out that the r9 290x only has technically 3 ports.
Update: Now im running push/pull on the rad and its been great, temperatures are even better after overclocking to a stable 4.7GHz on my cpu. Temperatures are all normal at idle and gpu gets kinda high during some gpu intensive games but it is an AMD vard after all.
Underrated cpu cooler. Love hot it looks and performs just as great. I didnt want to get the typical corsair liquid cooler so I went with this regardless of the fact that not many people own it but I dont regret it at all. Love everything about it.
Great price and does everything I need it to. Not that great for overclocking but gets the job done.
works perfectly, looks great in my build
Got it for a great price but didnt realize how slow it was, wish I got a different ssd instead
Great graphics card, runs hot but thats why I have an air540 and 9 fans in the pc. Beautiful and works great. Only problem is that I didnt know that only 3/4 of the ports really work. All 4 ports work, but at one time only 3 work.
Beautiful and great airflow case, only downside is how fat this case is, I knew how big it was going into this but now im regretting it since my triple monitors are having a hard time to fit. Nonetheless this case is really convenient and well thought out, kinda pricey for the quality. Windowed side panel scratches VERY easily.
Great power supply, great price, love the fact thats its modular and gold effeciency
AMAZING fans, beautiful and great airflow
Kinda pricey but cant complain for the rgb feature and nice slider feel on the fan controller.
