Description

It's been 8 years since I built my first pc and 3 years since I had to sell it. Then, 6 months ago, I felt it was time to rejoin the master race.

And this build right here is the finished product! I chose the Ryzen 5 2600X because I wasn't planning on overclocking, and the RTX 2060 because I live in Canada and anything higher is ludicrously expensive. So far it's been a massive success, and I'm giddy to be back. All the parts work very well together, and the M.2 SSD is lightning quick. The monitor was the biggest risk (since apparently, they all suck), but I am very pleased with the Acer VG271UP. Look much nicer in person, and no dead pixels as far as I can tell, with minimal backlight bleed.

I plan on using the build for gaming, of course, but also for work as I also plan on entering the graphic design market. All-in-all I'm stoked to be back in it, and I'm hoping this beast lasts me many years to come!

I like it a lot. Do you still like the monitor?

I do! The stand is a little wobbly, and there is an ips glow in the bottom left corner, but really for the price I've nothing to be upset about. It's quick, looks pretty, and the blue accent isn't as cheap as I thought it'd be either.
